Ouch.
I don't have anyone to hang out with so that's why I'm staying at home. I did some online shopping today. I managed to get bras my size for 8.50... much better than the 40 dollar regular price.
What site? Pixie needs some new ones...

I'm stuck at home with Juggers, whilst Pixie is out. As shitty as it is, I'm glad to be staying home. Just doing some laundry, then maybe clean the bathroom in a bit...

Lane Bryant. They have a 2 for 20 sale and I had a 15% off code. I don't know if it'll work for anyone but here it is 000155922

I cleaned the living room this morning when my Dad decided to stop by after work. I guess I'll vaccuum tonight... and oh ya... take down the Christmas Tree

The girlfriend is working till 11, which means the apartment is mine for roughly 6 hours.

Which translates to absolutely nothing. Maybe watching The Wrestler cause I know she won't.
Well my girlfriend is babysitting out of town for a week and I have about $14 to my name. So no, nothing exciting.
Wow, I sometimes think I'm doing bad, but I haven't been that low in years. But then again, when I get to having around $200 under my name left, I really panic (because I'm too pessimistic).

My goal right now is to beat lordwow on getting the job. ;) I finally just started applying in the west coast around San Jose, CA and plan to continue applying all over the west (not just Midwest and south).

Thanks, I'll check it out!

Well I haven't had a job in about a year now. I made roughly $500 last me that long. It's easy living at home, and I really have plenty of fun most of the time. I've got a couple hundy on the way from selling text books and a couple job interviews next week (I've stooped low enough to go to a K-Mart stock-mang interview). I was really struggling when in school because I didn't have any time to work, but finding a job has been rough.

Just keep applying. When I was trying to get a teaching job, I was getting so frustrated because I wouldn't get called back. And boom I got hired on the spot during one interview.

Ya, I've only got 3 weeks left at my work, and I've applied to probably 40 jobs since September. I gotta look into information about getting a deferment on my student loans.

Back a couple years ago jobs were fairly easy to find even when I was younger. Now that I have my associates degree though, the job market is way down and companies are laying people off like it's the cool thing to do while setting up hiring freezes. Go figure.

I was watching 20/20 last night, they did a survey of last year's graduates, and 40% said if they could go back, they wouldn't have gone to college considering how worthless a bachelor's degree has become for what you pay for it.

I'm grateful for my job. I just got a letter on Thursday saying I completed all my requirements to get my permanent teaching certificate. Of course I had to pay 75 dollars for them the process my application. But I should be getting my certificate soon. I've been working 2 and a half years towards this.

It has been pretty shitty. I really need to go back though so I can finish my degree. I've got about two years left on my Marine Biology major and I could pick up a job quick in my area (between the Navy, being a big port city and on the Chesapeake Bay), I just flat out can't afford the last two years. I'm realizing that even if I hold a job for a while, I won't be able to pay for it in full. I really don't want to have to take out loans now since I'm so close without having any debt, but aside from that, my only real option is to join ROTC and the Navy when I get out:)puke:).
That's awesome, congrats Lulu
Thanks. It was mostly mind numbingly boring classes to sit through. Nothing worse than Saturday 8 hour classes after working a 40+ hour week of teaching.

There is some movie on Spike with Van Damm and who I think is Laurence Taylor.
Ya, don't do that tude.
Back in the day, joining the Navy was a respectable career, but these days it seems like a last resort. Between that and the uncertainty with the our political state, I really don't want to join any military. My brother and couple friends have joined the Coast Guard and sing it's praises, but they all have wives and most have kids. I would hate to be in that situation at this point in my life.

I'll just keep trying and stay positive.

The job near San Jose would be an awesome opportunity since I'd definitely be doing something I love, but it's a pretty good company so I can't guarantee what will happen.

We should hang out if you do come here Mango!

Havent had a chance to go out. Chinese New Year is next week and my mom wants me to clean the house. :whistle2:|

I'll probably go out and get it on Monday.
Remind me to talk Vietnamese to you when we're on XBL.
Alright, I suck at it though so you're probably better than me.
nuoc mam!
That stuff is soooo good
How many languages do you speak Wolve?
Fluent in 2 (English, Dutch)
enough to get by in 2 more (French, German)
A few words in about 5 more....(Spanish, Vietnamese, Afrikaans, Arabic, Latin)

Tristan and Isold is a very good movie but what's with young actors today like James Franco and Hayden Christensen who seemed to all transformed into wooden actors.
Hey Minh, in Vietnamese culture, when you're a guest in someone's house, is it rude not to accept food?
No, my extended family loves seafood except for me and my brother. They know so they either order a pizza or kfc for us or we usually eat before we come to their house.

If it's someone I've never been to their house before, then ya, I usually try and eat what they have. If it's something that I know I cant eat, then rice and soy sauce is enough for me.
Hey Rock, is it cool in Vietnamese culture to join a game, say hello, and then leave immediately?
Saw you guys playing D2 and just wanted to see if my characters expired. :D

You shoulda stuck around, $$$$a.

You know, I purchased D2 a few weeks ago but never installed or played it. I should probably do that, that way I can hop in while you guys are on this D2 phase again.
Add Chinese New Year to the long list of holidays where I get squat.
I get at least $200 from it each year.
...
Do it Budge, I'll probably get back into it cause last time there was only me, ck64, liquid, moxio, and I think one other guy. Game is more fun if we can fill it up to 8.
