Why won't my 360 connect to the internet? Ugh.

I'm in college, and my university is pretty strict about who and what can use their internet since I can only use my computer and this one ethernet port to get onto the university's internet. My solution was to use my MacbookPro as a WiFi hotspot, share the internet from the ethernet port, and connect the 360 via WiFi. The problem is when I connect my 360 via WiFi, the automatic setting does not come up with ANY DNS or IP Address settings. I've tried entering them in manually, which I may have gotten wrong, but no luck really.
Any ideas? Thanks.

P.S. I hate my university's internet.

Change your 360's mac address to match your Macbooks. You're connection will probably stink, but it will be passable. I did this in college, downloads took forever, and some games were unplayable (Halo 3) while others worked perfectly (CoD4).

Good luck.

Why don't you just get a router? You can then just clone the MAC address of the Macbook, and then just plug things in through that. Would save a lot of configuration as well.
