Wii bundle in stock NOW trus online $400++

I think it doesn't matter because it's sold ;-P

Best bet if the system is not a gift for a child is to wait at this point. I'm starting to see em pop up and wouldn't be surprised if it's alot easier to find when we get closer to XMas.

I think with that auction he did not intend to list it with a buy it now. He probably will back out of the auction.

Thanks for the Toys R Us info. I just purchased a bundle. They have 2 different bundles that you can choose between.
Figure that I will dump the games I do not want on ebay or exchange them someplace for other games.

Although it's obviously not as good as a naked Wii console purchase, you can recover a fair amount by trading those bundled games on Goozex. (And then you can spend the points on something you really want.)

He can't back out...it's been sold.

He can always claim he doesn't have it or give any excuse, and the buyer can leave a neg and file item not received for a chargeback.

Then the buyer can resell it afterwards if he wanted to. But he might be a genuine seller...you never know.

Yeah... Do you think eBay is going to sick their lawyers on him for backing out of his "legally binding contract?" I've had more than a few sellers back out of auctions after items have sold for less than they thought it should have. I guess they figure they'd rather take a negative feedback (and half the time that won't happen because they'll just leave negative for you) and pay the fees than do the right thing.

Yeah. well the problem is.. this is the biggest shovelware bundle of all time.

The Ben 10 game got a pretty good review (and the show is pretty fun, especially for something aimed at kids). The rest is total shovelware though, not that I blame them exactly.
Jesus, that shit bundle sold out? That's crazy. Who would play all of that crap? Fishing Master?
Its funny how desperate people are with this false hype demand thing, I really hate Nintendo........

Don't hate Nintendo, hate the crazy ass general buying public (especially parents) who completely overlook the true significance of a gift (i.e. thought matters more so than content) and their bratty ass kids...

That said, I shall punish these fools on eBay if I can get a Wii to sell! But I doubt I'll spend much energy looking for one, I'm still happy with my launch day Costco Wii...

...Why the heck do you hate Nintendo for making a product that is still obscenely popular more than a year after launch?

I have nothing against Nintendo. They have bamboozled the general product with a half-baked product, and everyone is eating them up like crack rocks.

I actually play my Wii these days, so the lineup has much-improved. I was totally disappointed with the product until recently. The 1st party titles have been hot, and I hope they can keep it up next year.

Unfortunately, even a year later, the motion controls are still quirky in some games. I think the accuracy and precision of the Wiimote is already close to its max. Hopefully, the next gen Wii will have a much more precise instrument.

Overall, the system is still a lot of hype over value, but it's still better than PS3 at this point. Sony's holiday lineup hasn't been dismal, but it's worse than the other two consoles.

I disagree, I'd say all of the systems fell into this (everyone remember when the 360 came out, no one could get them.. same with the PS3 last year) Nintendo did fall short in having this happen for 2 holiday seasons in a row... shame on them for that. At least the Wii didn't have all the problems the 360 had (and still does have with the red ring)

I'm not a fanboy of anyone (actually, this entire console race I have been rooting for sony... too bad they have REALLY dropped the ball with an overpriced system, lackluster on-line service and NO great games (in my opinion)

I think the Wii did a lot for gaming... its a great "party" system, I've had several time with friends and family playing wii sports for hours, anyone can pick up a controller and learn to play in about 2 minutes. Its much more user friendly than an Xbox 360 or PS3.

as far as the "over hype" thats simple economics of supply and demand, there arn't enough to meet the demand, it wont' change until nintendo makes enough units to meet the demand.

great 1st party titles on are on the (I am eagerly awaiting smash bros. brawl)

They are making 1.8 million units per month!!!

That Ebay auction was interesting as the guy's only sold VERY cheap stuff before.. makes me wonder if it wasn't a false auction on a hijacked account?

Either that, or he has absolutely no idea what a Wii's worth, or he meant to put $3000 as the BIN.
I got one from Amazon a few minutes ago and they're already sold out. My random checking of their site finally paid off.
they were in stock? Hamlet!!
