I'm looking to sell my MINT Wii console. It is complete and comes with everything that the console does when factory new. I have all boxes, baggies, accessories, etc. It is completely adult owned and has been played about 4 hours total.

The system also includes Super Metroid, along with 1200 Wii points still available to spend in the market place.

I have never registered the system with Nintendo.

I am looking to get $285 + shipping for this system. That is basically the cost of the system, figuring in tax and the cost of the Wii points. It will look brand new and is ready to be given as a gift if desired. Every part and piece is included that was originally in the box, and it looks in mint condition.

I can ship immediately.

Here is a picture. The VC controller is available for $10 extra if needed. I will not sell this seperately.

The cheapest system you can buy right now today from eBay is $349 via Buy It Now. That also has a $40 shipping charge as well.

I'm selling this for $300 + shipping. This is about $9 over the cost of the system. If you don't like my price, don't post. It's as simple as that.

I was just saying that auction was sold not 5 minutes ago. I don't see why people try to jack up prices on this stuff.

once something opens, value drops immediately on EVERYTHING (no exception to anything), it's the way the marketplace in the world works
 
ill add just to attempt to be helpful (along with a free bump) that personally, if you want to sell it here, you are likely going to have to drop your price, not threadcrapping just telling you, its cheapassgamer, not ebay, and even ebay you are seeing prices fall back to reality now


i mean in reality, i bought a used wii on here complete with everything in brand-new condition with an extra wiimote and nunchuck, and super paper mario shipped for $250

now yeah i got a decent deal, but to move this here (or even on ebay) you might be looking torwards $250 shipped now or less (especially on here, unless you catch someone rabbid for one, but unlikely as there's no holiday rush or anything anymore)

No shit. It's really no wonder I don't sell anything on here. I'm offering something that some people cannot go out in the store and buy, plain and simple. And it's not like I'm trying to make a lot of money on it.

So what if it's used? It's been played for a total of 5 hours. If someone wants one and can't find it in the store, I don't see the problem here. I can bet you that you cannot tell this system from a system you buy in a store. I have kept everything with it and it's sealed up and looks brand new. I can understand dropping the price if it was something that is less desirable, but this item certainly isn't.

That's 1 auction though, that went for extremely low. There is an auction that is almost ending right now at $350

You can't gauge prices off of 1 extremely low auction. The prices are all over the place. Look through the complete listings. They range from $285 to $370 or so for just the system. $300 is an extremely fair price. $10 over or so and not having to worry about standing in line for something? Sounds extremely fair to me.

Heck, people's kids are going without the Wii because they can't find them a year after launch....there is a market for them, as you can see from Ebay. If I was looking for one and couldn't find one, I'd rather buy one from a fellow CAGer that seemed to have bought it and didn't like it instead of some Ebayer that stood outside a store so they could price gouge me for profit. That's why I left for a while; I got tired of all the "experts" telling me my price was too high, and all the other shit like that.

Funny thing is, if any of you TC'ers would have taken the 10 seconds you wasted posting your ridiculous comments to simply PM the OP with an offer, chances are he might have heard you out.

But I guess a little common courtesy is hard to come by these days.

The only thing else I ever said was that since it's used, I doubt anyone is going to pay over cost for it, let alone a price that would have him break even (plus shipping on top of it) since the holiday rush has passed and that this is CAG not Ebay (to which prices have started to plummet).

That would be a stupendous price that I would've jumped on if my girlfriend's family wasn't gouged on CL at $450 for a new Wii + 1 game (NOT 5) 3 weeks ago, much against my advice.

Postal money orders are under $1. I'm not sure how much they are at banks.
 
I can offer you 200 shipped for it. Brand new wii's cannot even be sold anymore on CL or ebay, plus yours is used. 4 stores within a 10 mile radius have them new in stock for 268 after tax and the points card is 100% useless to me. If you think its too low, good luck on your sale.

I agree with Suppaman. You can buy the same thing new for $270 shipped if you troll Amazon. Paying $20 more plus shipping if it's used isn't a CAG move at all. He's a nice guy but it reminds me of Iamthecheapestgamer trying to sell a new Gamecube this year for something like $100.

Like I've said multiple times here. If you do not like my price, do not post here. I have this system in my hand right now ready to ship. You are getting a mint system, with Super Metroid, and the leftover points.

I could understand if these things were easy to get, but "trolling" amazon MIGHT result in a system after a week or so of getting lucky. This one is ready to go today. The same with waiting in line anywhere else. You MIGHT get a system, you might not. $285 for what you get here is hardly a rip off, considering how hard these things are to get.
