Wii Fit discussion

I can't wait to get this. I'm happy I can do my work out AND work out with Wii fit to keep fit.
I don't have a Wii yet but...yeah.
When will this be out?
As for the lack of suprises at E3, this year it was more about impressing businessmen and not entertaining/surprising gamers.
Also it isn't as easy, and is more time consuming, this generation to get a great game done.

One of the guys from screwattack.com pretty much said it how it is about Wii Fit "If any other company besides Nintendo did this, people would laugh at it"

I'll probably get WiiFit (at least eventually) if for nothing else other than to check it out. Still it seems a bit odd Nintendo is already promoting another type of controller. We just got the wiimote and now Nintendo is trying to sell us a pad to stand on.

It would be different if the wiimote went into the pad. Maybe it does for all I know, but it doesn't look like it.

Maybe this is part of a master plan that will work in tandem with the wiimote.

But it seems like this will add confusion to the marketplace and their message and it seems too soon.

Err, when Nintendo introduced the Wiimote, the standing pad is kinda a give away... it's in the same category of innovation, i.e. get non-gamers into games. I don't see that as a bad thing at all. Personally, i'm a bit intrigued by this pad, i think my kids will love this thing.

I'm not sure what's "confusing" about the pad. Where Xbox360 owners confused by the guitar controller for Guitar Hero 2?
