I guess this is a good deal because there is no tax.

Out of the few people I know who own one, I don't know any body using it at all.

I goofed around with a few titles, and I thought it was stupid. Maybe, something will come out to peak my interest to actually want to use it. As of right now, I think it's another gimmick on a system built on gimmicks.

In for 1. Anyone know how much I would actually make flipping this? Not how much it will sell for, but after costs and everything. Is it even worth it?

I played with one of these at a cousin's house over Christmas and I don't understand the hype for it. The balance mini-games and hula-hooping were fun for about half an hour and I never have any desire to play them again. And I wouldn't use this as a serious exercise tool--you don't need a balance board to go running, lift dumb bells, or do push-ups and sit-ups.

I guess the balance board could be fun to use for skiing/snowboarding games but that gimmick seems like it would get old fast. Plus the Wii can only recognize one balance board at a time so you can't use two of them for multiplayer.

Flipping it isn't worth it, you'll probably make like $10-20 on eBay and Craigslist could be difficult since Wii Fit listings above MSRP get flagged really fast.

Depends where you sell them. I sell them using my company classifieds and made $25 on each.Craigslist is free as well.
They sell for ~$130 free ship on Fleabay...you will only be making $15

real gamers play whatever they want to play. If you think wii games are fun, play them. If you think that only shooting zombies is fun, only play zombie shooting games.

Make up your own mind and be your own person.

Just curious why do listings above MSRP get flagged on Craigslist? Edit guess some people might consider it to be a commercial interest?

There is going to be an oversupply of these soon..because almost every Wii owners already have the Wii Fit.

Good post for those that can't find one.

I personally bought one about 3 months ago and it's still sitting sealed in my room, my Wii isn't even plugged in.

Where do you guys live? Seriously!

I have seen these things sitting at Best Buy, Target, Toys R' Us and people just walk around them. Same thing with the Wii console. This weekend alone, I saw a huge pile at Best Buy, I saw like 7 at Target, and 3 more at Wal-Mart.

If you cannot find a Wii fit or a Wii console, then where do you live? Vermont?
Post a wii fit deal then, and not two years from now.
No tax = not a deal in my book (unless its $150 or more, like a PS3)

Recently picked up a Wii Fit from GS and we like it. If you are buying this as a game, akin to Resident Evil 5, though, you are, uhhhhhh, going to be disappointed? I think? You are also in serious need of tutoring.

Yes, it's not much of a deal but if you are going to criticize something that never goes on sale, you better have something to back your statement. Otherwise, your post becomes completely useless and you might as well not post.

Girlfriend and I currently use it to keep track of our weight. We used it a lot when we got it for strength training and yoga. It helped build our strength in the beginning since we were both unfit. We do little training on it any more but now we both go to the gym and I cycle 5 days a week. Whowuddathunkit.

I say it is worth it if you want something to help you stay motivated. Worked for us.

A bathroom/gym scale + spreadsheet software provides the same weight charting motivation for $90 less ;)

You pay $90 for self satisfaction and ego purposes.

Hey newbie, if this is "not much of a deal", then this shouldn't belong in the deals section. It seems that you agree with me therefore you contradict yourself.

2. MSRP = Not a deal. If you want me to get more specific, then let me tell you that SOME STATES DO NOT CHARGE SALES TAX (like Delaware or Montana). If you happen to live in Delaware, this officially becomes "not a deal".

Here is a good read for you:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sales_taxes_in_the_United_States

3. Now, your post is just a waste because you are just crying about my posts. Just keep playing your Wii Fit and leave me alone. Capiche?

Great suggestion. Here's another money saving tip: if you are in the market for an HDTV, did you know that you can just go outside and find a dog turd? if you are far enough away from a turd you can't tell the difference between it and a top of the line 100" 1080P Sony HDTV. So just get yourself a nice looking turd and sit at least 1 mile a way and you'll save yourself a shitload of a money. And I mean that.

thanks op. i bought one. i live in boston, mass. and i have never seen one for sale in a store. people still snap them up pretty quick around here.

So if a dog turd = a 100" 1080P Sony HDTV, then where do you plug the HDMI cable to the turd? Can you please explain that?
