Just thought I'd share what I've been doing for a decent profit on ebay these past few weeks. I've been buying copies of Wii Fit from the local Gamestop and selling them for over 100% profit on ebay.
I buy the games for $3.99 and sell them for an average of $10.35 per game. I've sold 5 so far and have made roughly $32 profit.
Here's my ebay sold page for proof (which doesn't include all of them for some reason...)
http://completed.shop.ebay.com/weav...e=1&_fln=1&_ipg=&_trksid=p3911.c0.m283&_rdc=1

So if you see Wii Fit at gamestop, get it and flip it, you won't be sorry! :)

Also, they seem to sell for more money on Thursdays; the three that I've sold on Thursday have sold for over $10, and the other two (sold on Saturday) have sold for $8.59 (my starting bid).[/QUOTE]

This is weird... I have been buying them from ebay for about $10 a game and flipping them on Amazon for $25 each! I've sold 5 so far and made roughly $72 profit!

Not really. Your post just looked lonely all by itself.

I highly suggest you close this thread if you want to keep flipping these. It's stupid to tell thousands of people about a flip. What do you think is gona happen? Everyone's going to follow your price? Hell no. They're just going to lower their price to compete with you and you won't be selling them anymore. Just my 2 cents.

I wonder if the shortage is a seasonal phenomenon (with New Year's Resolutions and all).

Still, somebody might want to try this if Wii Fit was the game that would boost them 50% on the GS trade-in promo (today's the last day?).

So you're buying these for $3.99 (plus tax unless you have credit).
You're selling them for $10.35 each on average.
Ebay is taking $2.05+.60 for Paypal/fees.
You're not taking in to account any time spent acquiring games, packaging them, dealing with eBay, etc.

Congrats on your $4 profit, if that.

I didn't want to burst his bubble..

But man. $32? Wonder how big his island is.

Actually when you factor in fees, it drops my profit down to $30 (I raise my shipping cost to cover most of the fees.)
And my time is basically worth nothing right now (no job) so any money is worth my time.
