Was checking the EB/GS release list and I even did a search on it, but Wii Play disappeared. Anyone know what happened? I did check Best Buy and it is still listed in their system.

Which is total bullshit.. since when is there a set allotment? They'll take 48 million preorders on Halo 3, but by god, they shut the shit down on Wii Play after 500.
 
They quit taking pre-orders? fuck. Looks like I'm going to have to get to some other B&M as soon as they open.

I need a second controller, dangnabbit.

Since there is a shortage or wii remotes, thats why. FYI, I went to 5 gamestops/ebs and both have confirmed that they are not taking anymore and the game is no longer in the system for preorders. Doesnt show up on their website either.

Yea, I'm going to have to go to B&M as well. There are lots of controllers on store shelves now. I might just see if anyone is willing to just sell the game. I dont need the controller.

Not where I'm at, none of the stores have Wii Remotes.
 
The moment this hits a B&M we are going to need an update. I still need 2 remotes. And Wii play is the perfect way to get a 3rd. The 4th I may hold off till nintendo puts out another color.
 
It got a pretty shit review in EGM--6.0, 4.5, 5.0.

Looks like its a bit iffy if it's even worth the extra $10 for those who just need an extra Wiimote.

It will be worth the $10 to me for sure.
 
Not to me, though I don't really want a 3rd Wiimote right now anyway.

Only shooting sounds remotely fun, and the whole package looks even shallower than Wiisports which I barely have touched after the 1st week.

You want to do it a real cheapass way... break one of your wii straps and use the receipt to return the remote (+$40)...

then go buy the game for $50 and your out $10 and still only have 2 controllers!

They probably put them out early in anticipation of Sunday's ad promoting the Wii. I'd check your BB. I would assume most will be gone before Sunday.
