Wii Preorder @ Barnes and Noble!!

It works for sure, I called them and asked when they are shipping the bundle and they said its shipped on the launch date. Hope this helps those who either missed the gamestop's one or didnt want to buy the warranty and the mags

ships from gamestop

Ordered one anyways. Total came out to 737 after tax (I got overnight shipment). I figure if I can sell it for 500-600 on ebay, I can keep all five games in the bundle for only 137.00 as well as the extra controller. Here's to hoping I get it.

Thanks, finally got a Wii. If you use an Amex card, they will send you an email which requires you to call customer service to verify the transaction.

No Elebit or Raving Rabbids so no go here...

I don't know when people are going to realize that the market for Wiis is going to bomb after launch so ebaying will net little to no profit...
I have a bad feeling that this won't be reliable.
they just called me to thank me for the order. They said the item will ship on launch day in the AM.

"Supplies are extremely limited and ordering this bundle does not guarantee shipment at launch."

You don't save money by buying this bundle. All the additional items are added on at retail price. i personally decided against it.
I have a bad feeling that this won't be reliable.
This is legit. I had to call customer service to verify, and they said it would ship on launch day.

Looks like the memory card is the only ripoff portion of this deal since it prices out at $50 as part of the package.

I want a Wii, but I'm not biting, too much money for something that I feel will be more readily availible than the Xbox 360 was last year. Plus, I really don't need to pay full retail price for five games that I don't want, and a memory card.
No Elebit or Raving Rabbids so no go here...
Elebits is no longer a launch title ...

Nintendo Wii system (system, remote controller, nunchuck, stand, sensor and Wii Sports)
Wii 1 Gigabyte Memory Card
1 additional Wii Remote Controller
Legend of Zelda: Twighlight Princess
Trauma Center: Second Opinion
Red Steel
Marvel Ultimate Alliance
Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz
Madden NFL 2007

Damn: console, 6 games (not including Wii Sports), extra controller, gigabyte card. I know it's not under retail, the games aren't amazing, and there's a useless memory card... but that's a lot of stuff for $660 shipped. Wii truly is cheap.

Doesnt the Wii use SD memory cards? If it uses regular SD memory cards, 1gb for $50 is a pure rip off, Staples office store has them for $20 this week. And Buy.com has them for (3) 512mb for $20 if you use google checkout.
Elebits is no longer a launch title ...
Thanks for the heads up. I guess that means I won't be getting a Wii on launch since that was one of my top games to play...

Whoa.. this worries me...

"Your order may be cancelled any time up until November 14th at 6pm CST." So, if they tell me that my pre-order won't arrive at launch I can't even cancel it!?!

Also, it's lame that they include an extra Wiimote, but not the nunchuk attachment... which is pretty much essential to playing almost every game.

Yeah, 660 for a wii bundle with 6 games an extra controller and a memory card. You could get a ps3 with one game for that price and a 360 premium with 2 games and wireless router for that. Wii is truly a steal of a deal!

why do you say that? do you mean that the market will be saturated? if so, that does not mean it's going to bomb. i'm getting a wii for the new gaming experience and not to make a profit. people doing this should be hanged for price gouging. it's bad enough that the games and systems are getting expensive. i started www.daddygamer.com for this reason. so i can offer parents and other good tips. CAG is a great resource. You guys rock!

i think this deal is legit. do what i did. i split the cost with a good friend. when the $250 system is available, you and your friends can share the games. viola! instant savings!

add video gaming to your life; don't make video gaming your life... DG

Yes, it can use regular SD cards.

I'm still getting Elebits with my bundle, even though it's not a launch title :)

There appears to be little need to buy a bundle . . . there should be plenty of Wiis available. Might require a litle patience but why buy all these games if you don't have to?

Yeah, the new "experiance" will be worth the 650. I dont have to pay tax so its only $670 shipped 3-5 days. Not bad at all. That takes away the 2+ hours I would have to wait in line. The funny thing is, I didn't see this advertised anywhere, I called gamestop to cancel my preorder and they notified me of it. I think its just all the caneclled gamestop orders or something, that would explain why the magazine and warranty isnt on there. Anyways its a great deal and you can always take back the games you dont want. All those games sound pretty fun so I may not take back any of them!
Its still a good deal, and you can sell it on launch when the prices will still be up there. Either way, its a good preorder!
If you get it in time. If you don't get it until a few days after launch, the market will already be saturated and people will realize how easy Wii's are to get. Then you are stuck with a bunch of games you don't want. I considered ordering this bundle, but all I really want is a Wii and Zelda so I decided against it.

I think you could as long as you have the reciept. Well, I thank you guys for making my first post ever pretty darn successful!!! Happy preordering, lol!

WTF, anyone else get a cancellation email? I ordered right when this was posted too! >_< I just called to verify I would get one too and they confirmed it would ship on the 19th/20th! Right after calling I got this email!
for those that didn't know. Barnes and nobles owns gamestop.
When I worked for GS, I used to get 50% off anything at the little cafe in B&N. $2 white chocolate mochas...those were the days. But I didn't know GS bought their stock back from B&N. Interesting.

I got in a B&N preorder that I'd like to cancel because I got the Walmart bundle.

Anyone want it? If so, please PM me.
correction, i guess gamestop purchased their stocks back from barnes...
No, Barnes still has a vested interest in GameStop and many of the same people are on the Board of Directors for both companies. Barnes just split GameStop off into it's own publicly traded company a few years back instead of all the GameStop financials falling in under the Barnes stock.

Going rate for the wii is 450-1000 on ebay right now. I don't think there is as much supply as people think. If I can get 450 for this I will keep most of the games that are in this bundle and the extra controller. I would expect 450 to be the minimum as well.
It ships from Gamestop? That's weird.... Either way, bought one. Thanks jay.
Barnes and Nobles ownes EB Games and GameStop. Or most of it, because employees can get their discount there, and at cingular.
