Hey everyone, I received this email about a Wii first-look party in Toronto on Tuesday, November 14th. Unfortunately, I can't make it as it's during the day (damned work), but maybe spreading the love will win me some karma points for finding a Wii on Sunday the 19th.

Be among the first to play Nintendo Wii before its official November 19 launch and experience a videogames a whole new way

When: Tuesday, November 14, 2006
Lineup begins at 11:00 am
Doors open at 1:30pm
Admittance to lineup ends at 4:00pm

I'd skip work for that (I'm not in the area though), or at least, I would have, if it were weeks before the launch instead of a few days. I still would have considered calling in sick to work, "Sorry, boss, I think I'm coming down with a Wii fever, eh?" (the "eh?" added for Canadian readers).
