Wii Punch-Out

CAGiversary!
It is about time we saw a comeback from one of the original hits.
Nintendo thrives on making 3-d incarnations of their old games and there has never been a better time. There are sure to be some free flash punchout wannabes but I would love something official that reeks of polish.

Wasn't this called Wii Boxing?

Yes, clearly a proof in concept. But obviously Punch Out!! is a little different, so let's get the characters, special power punches, and more back!

Nintendo will most likely look at how many people buy Punch-Out! on the shop channel (when it comes out) before jumping into a new game for the franchise.

Sorta, the nunchuk doesn't have the same motion sensing that the wiimote has, so it isn't as precise.

They should also get mike tyson in it, so you can punch those stupid tattoos off his face.

super punchout is the best game ever!!! i'd take that on the virtual console at least, i still play it on my snes.

While I love the convenience of the VC and would ideally prefer all my games that way, you can unlock Super Punch Out!! in Fight Night Round 2 for the Game Cube. It's less than $20 now and a pretty damn good boxing game too.
