Made it to the Porter Ranch TRU at 4:30am...it wrapped all the way to the back of the building by BB's emergency exits.
Sped off to the Target on Corbin, in line by 4:50am (about 30th in line). I thought it wouldn't kill me to wait 10 minutes but I was wrong because they opened at 6am. Ran through the store to wait in the Electronics line for 20 minutes before I got someone to tell me that they had no Wii's. One worker hesitated (looked to his upper left) and said "no" as if he was trying to convince himself. Another worker said that they may get a shipment later today or Monday. The guy behind me had his mom wait in line at the Target on Balboa and she said that that Target also did not have them.
So I plan on checking later today after I finally sleep. I know I should get up early tomorrow but I don't know which store I should try.
On early Sunday morning, I'll be at BB.

Post if you hear better rumors.

I'll try to be there at 8:45am just in case they hand out tickets an hour in advance like they did on BF. If there are 40 people in line by then, I'm just going to go home and study.

i got there at 6:30am, I couldnt sleep so I figured i'd see what line was like.

I was number 19 out of 60 systems.

Now i can play zelda!
 
I left my house at 8:30am and stopped by the Target on Corbin...nada.
I pulled into the Porter Ranch parking lot and saw the line of 60+ people. I noticed the BB manager with the clipboard and green wristbands with about 15 more people before the end of the line. I almost crashed my car trying to park fast. Zipped to the back of the line and peeked ahead and saw that the clipboard slots were almost full; Now it's 8:55am and in 3 minutes there are 4 behind me. A few more uneasy minutes pass and I get flourescent green wristband 59 of 62! Oh happy day!
So I wait in line with cool people that are actually gamers from students to teachers to families. I finally exit BB at 10:37am after they try to sell me a b.s. warranty. I think they had every game but no controllers. Luckily I decided to wait and purchase a Wiimote at TRU on launch day after 2 hours. Now I can stop checking CAG every 2 hours and finish my thesis.

If I can get one, you can get one.

(I really think these will be available off-the-shelf Dec.27th)

Now I'm just waiting for my 3 games from TRU.com and controllers from CDUniverse.com

After driving to my friend's house and playing for 3 hours, I'd like to say....

Employee said that they were restocked at about 5pm. This was their first shipment of controllers since launch. They will have Wiis this Sunday and "don't know how many."

I tried to get him to tell me when they receive shipments and he responded that it's random throughout the day and that they put them out then. I speculate that's true except for the consoles themselves.
