For every interesting poll on EV , there are two really stupid ones. But I am occasionally surprised by the results.

I still have all the misc channels (EV , CMO , NC , IC) , even though the only ones I regular use are the EV and NC. The only time I pull up CMO is to download a winning mii , for no really good reason.

I had all the useless extra channels on my Wii until I ran out of room, I moved them to my SD card so I could have room for WiiWare.

Not really that big of a deal since I quit voting a long time ago, still sucks there is no storage solution though as I'd like to have everything on my Wii.

All those extra pages for channels is useless until we have more storage.

One day I'm going to figure out how how often Lilboo uses the word "big" in his post.

It's gotta be a 33% ratio or better, I just know it.
I deleted my Internet Browser real quick. What's the point? Unless you don't have a computer or something...
In America its merely a novelty, I assume in Japan it might be more useful for people who dont have computers and may rely on cell phones. I could be wrong but I think thats more common.

Also, since the Wii and DS browsers run the same Opera core, its useful, because the DS (especially the DSi) should benefit from a web browser in locations where you have to login to WiFi before it can be used.

So some utility, but no reason to keep it as a channel. It will probably be next to go if I break again and download something else before the "solution" gets deployed.
I downloaded the WW do see how it stacked up next to Orbital on GBA. I liked the GBA one better for its charm. However, I don't know if the control is better. I'm trying to get the last ten moons on the GBA game, and I keep fucking crashing into stuff. :bomb:
yeah, i've got about that many moons left myself and i'm starting to crash a lot. i'd be surprised if the control was any better. it seems like lack of control is a big part of the game. i am curious to see the gba one, cause i agree that the ww one doesn't have much charm. i would have loved a few more backgrounds.

I don't see what the difference of 1 thread vs 1 thread a week? :whistle2:k
I do a good job of keeping it updated. I even have the OP stating what games came out each and every week--on top of the fact that each VC/WiiWare game has the release date next to them.
yeah, i definitely like that you keep it updated. maybe it's just ocd that i want to throw old things away and have new things. i don't know what i want.

Bought today: Orbient (must spend more time in order to judge), Mega Man 9 (excellent), Sin & Punishment (HOLYWHATTHEfuckINGHELL), TMNT (my roommate overrode my better judgement), Ice Hockey (which I'm apparently awesome at), Paper Mario (No timed blows? Weak.), Strong Badia the Free (very good, but seems a lot easier than Homestar Ruiner so far), and Mario 3. Hanging on to my remaining points for future episodes of Strong Bad.

Also really wishing I hadn't bought TMNT. fucking roommate. I should have spent that on Golden Axe 3 or some shit!
TMNT (my roommate overrode my better judgement)
Clearly a sign that your roommate is possessed by some evil force, or some dark falz.
Paper Mario (No timed blows? Weak.)
Just keep playing. There's a tip in this seemingly unrelated video:

The charm is in the simple graphics. They look great without much flair, just circles and colors and backgrounds. Look at some gameplay videos to see what I mean.

What is that stupid shit people say when something big happens? MEGATRONZZZZZZZ? Well, yeah, that!
Yahoo! Shining Force 2 finally! I recommend this game for anyone who likes Strategy RPG's. Better then the Fire Emblems.
Fuck. Yes.
I played Mario Golf once or twice back in the day, but I don't really remember it.
There's a lot to it, but I'll try to summarize: you play golf on Mushroom Kingdom-themed courses with Mushroom Kingdom characters.

Oh, there's also exploding golf carts and Peach upskirt shots.

I never really cared for Mario Golf.
I really can't wait for the Mario Parties to show up on the VC.

I never played SF. I'll probably try it eventually :)
Very nice that we got 4 games again

You're crazy, Mario Golf is fantastic.

I have the Gamecube version though so I don't feel like I need the 64 one. I want to try SFII since I've never played any of them.

I don't leave my computer on 24/7 so I usually use it to check technology/videogame news before or after I finish playing games on my Wii if its been awhile since I've used my computer.
I downloaded the Mega Man 9 demo on the 360. Don't know how you guys fell in love with it. Fiendish is the best word to describe it.
I think it was definitely a poor level choice for a demo. Once you get past the 3 elephants (which is easy once you know the pattern), the rest of the level isn't that bad. Those elephants can be incredibly frustrating though so I can see why people would say "fuck this" after playing it a few times.

I still haven't beaten MM9 yet - I need to set aside the 2 hours that it is going to take me to make it through Wily's stages.

Well no thanks to a couple weird-ass videos I now find that the ol' Mario RPG timing is in fact present in Paper Mario (as it should be). I also find that orbiting black holes is oddly calming.

I can't seem to get connected to the internet right now.. well, on my Wii. :whistle2:k

Anyone else having problems?
I redid my wireless thing, and I still can't log into the Nintendo Channel and The Shop Channel :(

Same thing happened to me earlier this morning, I changed my router channel from 1 to 11 and that seemed to do the trick.

Hey that actually helped! Thanks!

Lock's Quest demo is back up on the Nintendo Channel. I wanted to like it, but ..I didn't.
Also, MySims Kingdom is available.
...and that's it!

BTW, Ya'll. Mega Man 9 DLC has been added.
Proto Man Mode (200 Points) and Endless Attack Mode (300 points) are both available.

2 VC games: Mario Golf (N64) and Shining Force II (Gen)

hopefully once the new Ds system hits here we will be able to download all of the VC games into it.

i probally spend 200 bucks on DC the first freaking month.

I would grab a wii but just for downloads its not worth it

Thanks for the update, I wanted to check both of those out.

Shining Force II does not fuck around on the Hard mode. :wall:

Played up until the continent started splitting in two and I can't wait to start back up. :D
With World of Goo supposedly coming out next Monday, I found a demo, or rather a rapid prototype of the actual game for people who wanted to get their hands on the gameplay. Love the music, and I will definitely be getting this when it comes out.
I've been waiting on this one for a long time, it looks really fun. I downloaded the demo a while ago but my screen resolution wouldn't work with the game so I couldn't really play it. The WiiWare version is supposed to be much more refined than Tower of Goo anyway.

Don't pussy out on me, TFN. I'll race you through hard mode!
Don't pussy out on me, TFN. I'll race you through hard mode!
I'm sure I'll be alright once I run into that phoenix that stops those three little boys from beating up each other.

The only parts I'm really dreading are the Kraken, the Chess battle, and the battle for the Caravan. :wall: Once the promotions and better weapons start being made, the game becomes cake.

Ditto... even though they mixed it up some, it still feels too much like Tower Defense, which I suck at and get tired of too quickly. I'm just glad they put out such a thorough demo, so I knew that by Day 5, I was ready to put it down.

Hopefully 5th Cell's next DS game is something more to my liking, as one of the few western devs putting anything worthwhile on the system.

Ah, crap. Not only do we FINALLY get another N64 game, it's actually one I WANT.

However, I just don't have the room. Bah, I may have to actually make room for this one.

Curse you, Nintendo!

Really excited about Shining Force 2.

As happy as I am though about us getting Mario Golf , I'm going to have to pass on it for the same reason I passed on Mario Kart 64. Cause the downloadable version is gimped. Mario Kart is missing the ability to save your ghost time trial times , which takes away a lot of the replay value. Mario Golf takes away the ability the use the transfer pack and load up your custom golfer from Mario Golf GB into the game (Of course with Mario Golf there was no way they could have replicated this , Mario Kart they had less of an excuse).
