Wii - Splinter Cell Double Agent $19.50 + $2.95 shipping

The crappy ones are; I would love to see Excite Truck drop, but knowing Nintendo that's at least 4 years away.

never played any of the splinter cell titles... is this any good? The lack of multiplayer seems to be it's greatest failing.
there is a $10 off $10 coupon for new customers at overstock according to slickdeals.net
The coupon doesn't work on games, unfortunately.

It's ugly, if you accept that, it's not awful. This one does have split-screen multi, too. Probably the best part of the game.

Check out metacritic.com for a review or gamespot.com to see what peoples take on it is...

usually some hate it, and some love it but who knows

Filler has to be more than 10 bucks.

The Splinter Cell series itself is awesome. Every one of them. However I check this one out on Gamefaqs.com. The general consensus is that it is pure crap for the Wii. I just got my $19.99 copy for the XBOX 360 from Amazon's deal of the day a couple of weeks ago. So I will pass. I'm just waiting for the Original XBox version to drop so I can complete my collection. Besides I hear that it is the best version of them all, including the 360 version. Official XBox Magazine.

I don't think there's anything wrong with the Wii version. Then again, I haven't played other Splinter Cell games, just the (rather) old Rainbow Six games. The only thing I had a problem with was the style of aiming. It was a little awkward to control, as when you had to aim at a small camera or a trip beam source, it took me a while.

There might have been options to modify sensitivity, but that's what I can tell you from my limited (an hour or so) gameplay. Other than that it was good. I'm probably going to buy it from Overstock soon, but I just bought Super Paper Mario, so I'm going to hold off until after I get a good chunk through that...

Ubisoft Wii games are dropping like flies. Far Cry and Splinter Cell to name a few. Why anyone buys a Ubi title when it comes out, knowing it will drop less than 2 months later is beyond me.
It's made it to clearance at many Targets for $20.

Try your luck, mine was all out. :(

target is always YMMV. the ubisoft wii games all kind of sucked, thus why they're cheap already. anything good (zelda, super paper mario, etc) is probably at least 2 years to cheapness, when Nintendo will bring in a player's choice line.

Why anyone would buy a Ubi title in general is beyond me.

Thats because you own a Wii. Ubi games on other consoles don't suck as much ass as these Wii games do.

Rainbow Six Vegas anyone?

Unibsoft games are always bound to get a universal price drop within 6-8 months...most of their games only last a month or two at retail. Poor management in my opinion, but I guess I don't understand the market of people they're trying to sell to ;)

How does this compare to the X-Box version? I mean theoretically they SHOULD be able to just support the classic controller, and at least on paper the Wii is pretty close to the X-Box in capabilities, so you'd think it could be good...

And yeah, on PC and X-Box/360, Ubisoft is a good publisher. Actually Beyond Good and Evil was great on every platform, and the Gamecube version (the one I played) was supposed to be as good as the X-Box version (I think each had minor aspects of the graphics that were better than the other).

I got the xbox 360 version from the DOTD and when it comes to online multiplayer it might as well not be there due to the huge lack of players. Nobody is playing it.

That's too bad, because it was literally the first X-Box game I've ever enjoyed online when I tried the demo.
