WII VC has been "connecting" for every bit of 45 minutes...

Am i the only one who the virtual console is messed up on? It only works for me sometimes other times it just goes to the connecting screen and takes for ever to load.
 
what if you arent using a wireless router? im using the DS wifi Dongle, and sometimes my wii wont connect to the wireless dongle. Itll give me a error code, and most likely ill have to reinstall the program and mess with alot of random stuff to get it to work, its really annoying. heard anything on this? any tips?

unplug it, wait ten minutes, plug it back in. It gets really hot sometimes.

Going to have to agree on this. My Wii connects some of the time... it's usually a crap shoot.
 
I say it's your ISP's that are the problem. I've never had an issue, even on first attempt, and even on the default channel. (Switching to 11 improved speed but only very slightly.) And I'm in a major city, where there are countless people sharing the same pipeline as me.
 
Nintendo's "online" seems like a toy/gimmick.

I really want to see the first Wii online multiplayer game.......... oh wait, I forgot about the whole friend code crap.

Man, is SSMB for Wii confirmed online?
That's the only game I care about.
