I have a new Wii that I setup yesterday and I noticed that there is a consistent faint background sound similar to a heartbeat or soft drumbeat that is produced when the system is on or in standby (yellow light). I can hear it when in the Wii system menu or a game. The heartbeat sound is not produced when it is off (red light). I only hear the sound coming from my subwoofer so it is a very low frequency sound and probably wouldn't be heard with just TV speakers. Has anybody else experienced this. A quick Google search showed one other person that has experienced this issue, but no stated resolution. I wanted to find out if this is normal before I take steps to return it. Thanks.
