Wii's At K-mart This Sunday

Here is K-marts Ad for this Sunday. They are showing Wii's In Stock

Using Firefox 2.0.0.3, with AdBlockPlus. I turned it off, all the ads came back, and no sign of the ad from Kmart in the OP.

Someone needs to repost it. :whistle2:s

The OP doesn't have a jpg file extention on the link, so maybe that is why it can't be viewed by anyone. Too bad I'm working Sunday, as always.
 
I wouldn't trust K-Mart at all.

From working there, and managing electronics, they would FREQUENTLY put shit in the ad that we never had and never got shipments of. Some people might get some, but a lot of people probably won't, and you won't get a straight answer out of anyone in the store.

Most K-Mart's don't ever see the ad in advance so even if they did get some for Sunday, they will probably just sell them early.
 
Yeah, I remember the last time they had them in their ad, there weren't any there, and people in the electronics dept weren't even aware they were in the ad.
 
Also note that if your Kmarts DO get them, they probably won't have more than four. When the Wii first came out, I managed to snag the last one in the morning. They said they only got two boxes of Wii and they each carried two systems inside.

So, I'd suggest going early if you're willing to get one.

Yeah, I work there so I have a little insight into this situation. One of the problems with this is the fact that the ads for Kmart are printed at least a month ahead of when they actually come out. I can go in the back and look at ads for the next three weeks if I want usually.

Because of this, it's hard to judge when we actually have stuff. It's still bullcrap when we advertise stuff and don't have it, but that's one of the reasons. Kmart is just full of stuff like that.

Heh, ours only got two.
 
It depends on the K-Mart as far as shipments go. The one I work at had 8 Wiis at launch, and we got 4 in for this week's ad. I haven't actually seen the new ad, but if it doesn't say 'no rainchecks', then you should be able to at least get a raincheck for one. My store wrote tons of rainchecks for them last time they were in the ad, and though it took almost 2 months, all the rainchecks were eventually filled.

And yes, sadly it is true that almost every week there's at least one thing in the ad that we don't have and never got. You'd think the company would at least try to fix this issue somewhat, but nope. They just ignore it. There has to be a better way to do things.
 
Went to my Kmart this morning and waited outside with three other people. Just as they were opening, a girl came outside and said if we were waiting for the wii, they dont have any.
Pretty much said what an above postersaid about ads being printed months in advance and its pretty much random if they actually have it or not.

Companies pay to have their things advertised.

And I work at a Kmart, and we had 2 for this morning, a Wii Remote, 2 Classics, a nunchuck, and 2 points cards.

So yeah.
 
Our Kmart never has what they actually advertise (no matter what item it is), so I have learned not to waste my time with that store.
 
My Kmart had only three, it was suppose to be first come first serve. I was first in line out of three people. When they opened the doors they informed us that they changed it to a raffle. I was so furious because I waited in line for over 3 hours. During opening 11 more people showed up wanting the Wii. I of course went home wii-less. I wanted to trash the place and yell at them.

That's one stupid Kmart. Sorry man. I can only hope the Wii is a little easier to find in the next month or so. It's getting a bit ridiculous that it still isn't in stock after all these months.

This was my first serious attempt at trying to get a Wii and being first in line, I thought I had it. You're right, it is ridiculous that its still difficult to get a Wii. From what I hear Toy R Us will be getting some next Sunday. Looks like I'll be waiting in line again.:cry:

I got one! I ended just going there last night around 11:00 pm to camp out. My buddy came with me. When the employees finally opened the doors they told everyone they had 2, so my buddy and I both got one. Thanks OP

Actually...the joke's on you. That was me not really trying at all. Hence the terrible groaner nature of my previous post. (EDIT: What it is, I think, is whether the reader is predisposed to not liking the poster in question, in general. i raced across the county to the nearest K-mart I walked in and ran to the electronics dept and asked the clerk if they had any Wii's left and they said they sold out the last one like 2 mins ago.

just my luck.
 
I went to kmart today in the afternoon for the heck of it but there was no Wii of course, but many people in the electronics dept. asking for one and milling around the back case.
