On Monday February 27th, 2012, WikiLeaks began publishing The Global Intelligence Files, over five million e-mails from the Texas headquartered "global intelligence" company Stratfor. The e-mails date between July 2004 and late December 2011. They reveal the inner workings of a company that fronts as an intelligence publisher, but provides confidential intelligence services to large corporations, such as Bhopal's Dow Chemical Co., Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon and government agencies, including the US Department of Homeland Security, the US Marines and the US Defence Intelligence Agency. The emails show Stratfor's web of informers, pay-off structure, payment laundering techniques and psychological methods.

Stratfor's use of insiders for intelligence soon turned into a money-making scheme of questionable legality. The emails show that in 2009 then-Goldman Sachs Managing Director Shea Morenz and Stratfor CEO George Friedman hatched an idea to "utilise the intelligence" it was pulling in from its insider network to start up a captive strategic investment fund. CEO George Friedman explained in a confidential August 2011 document, marked DO NOT SHARE OR DISCUSS: "What StratCap will do is use our Stratfor's intelligence and analysis to trade in a range of geopolitical instruments, particularly government bonds, currencies and the like".

I won't lie. I'm waiting on others to read all the E-mails and post the juicy nuggets. Like this one concerning the Israeli-Iran conflict.

This has to be the biggest exposure by WikiLeaks to date.

And apparently, Jeb Bush's name was being tossed around to campaign after MCain went down, as he is considered "easier to control."

Sourceadvised Rick Davis was an arsehole and McCain's econ team had no clue, trusting in academics vice business-people.
That says a lot about how most cons think. Also shows that in the grand scheme of things, it's kingmakers like Rove controlling the process.

Indeed, sir.

And the WikiLeaks Stratfor data dump has unveiled yet another shiny nugget. Now, just because several officials in the ISI knew of Osama bin Laden's safe house, it does not speak on behalf of the entire government. I predict a Rick Santorum hate speech where he says he'll bomb Pakistan. Ya know, the fifth largest nuclear power (who overtook France and Britain) and has a strong bro-ship with China. China, the country who overtook Japan to become the second strongest economy in the world. Yeah, let's just bomb Pakistan. Makes sense, hypothetical Santorum.

No, Santorum has explicitly said Pakistan has to be an ally because of their nuke capability. He could continue obamas drone bombing of course.
