idk if this has been posted already im to lazy to search but i got an email from dvdtalk today and they said that best buy had the wild arms box for $10.99 so i went to bb and sure enough they had 1 left and it rung up for $10.99.

Huh? You certainly haven't watched much anime then.

Rented what, the first volume? I fucking love that show. The conclusion was very well done. I dug the whole holy war vibe. The only real thing I didn't like about the show was the character Satella (and her horrible dub), but other than that, top notch.

Huh? I certainly realize that people have different opinioins, but jeez...

Rented what, the first volume? I fucking love that show. The conclusion was very well done, and I dug the whole holy war vibe. The only thing I didn't like about the show was the character Satella (and her horrible dub), but other than that, top notch.

I rented the first 3 volumes, watched the first one. I thought it was terrible. You have your opinion, I have mine.
 
Thanks op! I was able to get the last Wild Arms at my Best Buy a few days ago. Now I just need to get rid of my old incomplete boxset.
 
WOOT! Just got an email saying that my Excel Saga Imperfect Collection shipped.

I should be getting my Elfen Lied vol 1/box soon as well.

When i ordered it it said it was Backordered (8/23) Gave me the backorder notice and everything. Then today i got the shipment email, so hopefully everyone else will be getting theirs soon too (unless they only got 1 in, then all i can say is *pffffft*)
 
*praises Kirin Lemon* you just made my night, I've been wanting praying BEGGING to some day pick up Kaleido Star for a great price cuz I saw it months back, and loved it and haven't had a chance to show it to my girlfriend. Hmmm... maybe I'll get Chrono Crusade if they have it in.

Dont think my Best Buy carries any of the ones I want taht you listed. I already own the Excel Saga collectiona nd Devil lady Collection. :/

I could use that Kiosk though, but probally wont be for a while. My next paycheck is going towards TV Box sets at Best Buy. heh

Oh,and can you pay with a money order? I hate PayPal, and I really dont want to start a credit card craze again.

Took me a while to pay offmy credit card last time.

is there anyone that could help me out and pick me up excel saga collection for me!!!!!?! pleassseee cuz im an HOUR away from the nearest best buy and i don't have the gas money to get all the way there :(
 
Jeez, i dont get how my Elfen Lied box that was shipped on 8/23 from NJ is still in Philadelphia (PA).

The Excel Saga is already in Orlando (about 2 hrs away) though it was shipped from South Carolina.
 
Thanks for the list kirin. I stayed away from super gals cause it just didnt look something id be into. But since it was cheap and you recommended it i figured id pick it up. So after watching 4 epsiodes i cant honestly say that its quite an enjoyable show. Thanks ^_^

Mine's In Process - I got an email last night saying my virtual credit card didn't have enough funds...it had $23 on it and the total was only $20.97 :bomb:

That payment was marked as Pending by my CC but I called BB CS and I had to add another credit card. If they double charge, I'll refuse payment on one when my CC bill arrives for a duplicate charge, and my CC company has been on my side for every issue.

But, yeah, it's definitely promising that my order is no longer backordered. It just has to be fulfilled in 7 business days, hopefully sooner. :bouncy:
 
My excel has shipped, and I also snagged wild arms and nuku nuku at the Best Buy in Cutler Ridge fl, they had one of each left.
 
Actually just finished watching Excel Saga today. For the first half of the series, I (literally) couldn't understand what Excel's English VA was saying most of the time. I alternated back and forth between Sub and Dub every few episodes. There is some really funny stuff in there though. The last episode is just great. :applause:

I can definitely see some people not enjoying the first episode though, so at least give it some time. Episode 4 is freakin hilarious. "Put it in!" :lol:
 
I'm hoping to check out the 2nd closest Best Buy near me next week, when I get paid. The one closest tome has crap for complete series. This other Best Buy has like twice the anime selection too, so I should have better luck.

People at here and at DVDTalk are reporting that many things are shipping after a few days/weeks despite the backorder status on things. So it's definitely worth a try as long as its still on the site.
 
Finally got my Elfen Lied Vol 1 w/ Box today. 9 Days to ship, but i guess i cant expect too much when it costs $1.75 for shipping.

Hopefully ill get my Excel Saga box soon. After it sitting in the UPS processing facility for 2 days (only 80 miles away, wouldve picked the damn thing up) its finally given me a tracking number, meaning its on its way.

Seems that Saiyuki Double Barrel 1, 2 & 4 along with the movie have been knocked down to $6.99 in stores/ on the main website. Not a bad deal considering the Doubel Barrel's have 2 discs each. Maybe you'll get lucky and find a 3, 5 or 6 still marked at $9.99 from the clearance back in January (or maybe the BB kiosk will have cheaper prices).
 
Finally got my Excel Saga set in the mail. The near 2 weeks for delivery kinda sucked, but considering i almost bought the Thinpak for $35 i saved some money and got the better looking set.

I could've sworn there was another Imperfect Collection box that came with a Menchi doll. Might've been seeing things, or it may have been for a limited # of boxes.
 
For anyone considering buying the Gantz volumes, don't. BB just got a complete Season 1 Box set for $44. Its cheaper then buying like 10 volumes of Gantz even at clearance price.
 
Season 1 boxset is vol 1-6 and Season 2 is vol 7-10 so its not $44 for entire show. Also Overstock.com has each box for $42.54 shipped so better deal is thru them.
 
Also on ebay theres 3 of the Season 1 thinpaks for 99 cents each. Only a day left.

Or if you want a buy it now theres a few at $30 with free shipping (yes, non bootleg)
 
Well I was able to pick up at my best buy wild arms, Dirty Pair Movie pack, Nuku Nuku Cat girl thin pack and the first vol of FMP Fumofu :cool: I also order the devil lady series boxset, Excel saga boxset and Elfen Lied box I already got confirmed shipping for Excel and Devil lady but nothing on the Elfen Lied box

I'm also thinking of ordering Kaleido Star but not sure at the moment
 
My Excel Saga order came in today! Awesome deal! :D

I ordered the Original Dirty Pair Movie Collection last Saturday, which shipped yesterday. The OVA set is actually priced $6.99 on the site, no need to log in in-store to get it for that price. I bought that a week or two back. ^_^

Awesome deals! I might order a couple more sets next time I'm in BB. :)
