idk if this has been posted already im to lazy to search but i got an email from dvdtalk today and they said that best buy had the wild arms box for $10.99 so i went to bb and sure enough they had 1 left and it rung up for $10.99.

Hmm, I was thinking of just getting the Cromartie by itself and getting a graphic novel along so I could get free shipping and 10 off 30. Right now I don't see anything else like another dvd set that I could bump it up to 50.
 
I ended up buying 8 DVD sets, along with a Mickey CD, a childrens book and a couple of $3 DVD's. :) All for around $120. :)

Buy.com is awsome.

I was very happy when I got mine in a few weeks ago. It's so small! The thinkpack is smaller than a normal ADV one, yet it holds 8 discs. =D

My Last Exile box shipped. I did 2nd day but I was wondering, if I order by ground will they ship it UPS ground or media mail?

Seems that Best Buy will have the Hellsing Ultimate LE version for $22.99 this week. Pretty good deal, the only thing close i could find is $26~ shipped @ Video Universe after GCO.

Yea, its $12 more than the regular version @ Family Video; but the case alone makes the purchase seem worth it (plus it comes with a figurine as well)

Is that a online only deal ? Or have best buy stores already got there shipment of this at most stores already ?
 
Its instores as well, was in the weekly ad. Though it seems its a mysterious third SKU in their system. Im wondering if its the LE version, or an exclusive Best Buy edition like they had with Ergo Proxy.

YMMV on whether you can get it before Tuesday. Best Buy is random when it comes to putting out anime early, i checked one of my local stores and they didnt have any of the 12/5 releases out yet.
 
I picked up Speed Grapher 1 w/box the other day and watched it tonight, i had seen the first two episodes at anime boston but really got into it with eps 3 and 4

I ordered Dark Tournament Box 1 twoice and each time it was cancelled on me. But during that time it did ship to other people. So don't feel too bad.
 
BtW, is tthere actiually anything new with the ultimate other than fancy tins and a few extra feattures? I already have Hellsing 1, 3-4. Doubt if it's worth it to upgrade on a double dip. Hellsing was an okay series anyway. Not superfantabolastic.

Well besides it being a completely new show...

Hellsing Ultimate is the name of the OVA series that sticks a lot closer to the manga then the tv series.

None of the best buy's here in tampa had it in. Supposedly all the Suncoasts have had their shipments "delayed indefinately".

Animenation has bumped the date back past January. Im guessing this got delayed VERY last minute?
 
I was able to pick up the Bestbuy exclusive today. I did not see any on the shelf but was able to get an employee get me a copy from the back stock room. From what I can tell it is the same as the version with the figure minus the figure. Its a 2 disk set with a metal case (reminds me of the Appleseed case). If you do not see a copy on the shelf you might see if an employee can check in the back.

Yes, either buy it where its in stock, or use one of their kiosks (computers that let you get onto Bestbuy.com) to order it. Their store locator does not usually show clearance/low stock anime, so you may want to go in yourself to make see if they have any stock.

In the store there are computers (kiosks) set up where you can log onto Bestbuy's website and order things. For some reason, some items are heavily discounted when you're on the Bestbuy website inside the Bestbuy store. So, if you order online in the Bestbuy store, you get the discount where you don't if you order from your home.

So anyway, just go to a B&M store and ask where their store kiosk is. I had to do that too the first time I tried ordering in the store because I couldn't find it. >_< Once you find the kiosk it's easy, just like ordering from your home. Just be sure to log out when you're done.
 
I think the stores have a different pricing database or different pricing field and the kiosks in store go by that price instead of the normal website price.
 
Ordered the Last Exile set from Best Buy last night. Couldn't help but feel uncomfortable putting all that information in front of all the holiday customers for a short few seconds at the kiosk, but the deal was too good to pass up.

ya i guess the yu yu hakusho box 1 is out of stock for good...cuz i've waited for 2 months now for it to arrive :( and best buy has cancelled both of my orders...

i went and they had it but they wanted 43 for it, i told them the tag said 23 but they said that was without the figure

Sounds about right, my order for boxset 1 has been standing since September 1st , backorder the whole time, though funny enough on 9/25 they dug boxset two out of a hole and sent me that, so now I have boxset two without boxset one.
