Will K-mart be getting any PS3's?

If they do, it'll be select K-Mart's.

I worked at K-Mart during the 360 launch, and only one store out of 6 or 7 in the area got any 360's at all.

The K-Mart here is the only store for 100s of miles. They told me they are getting "some". This is one of my potential places to camp out tomorrow.

If its anything like the 360 launch they will put them up on their website 4 times and not be able to honor orders from hardly anyone.

Well, it makes sense to send them there, but in the store I worked at in the case of the 360 we got 0... we were also close to a BB / CC / Wal-Mart / you name it.

The K-Mart that got all the systems was near NOTHING, everything was at least a 15 minute drive... it was also the store with the highest electronics sales.

For people with multiple K-Mart's nobody in the store will even know if they are getting in (our store thought we were getting a few 360's a day before launch, nope, corporate let us know the day before) so don't camp out at K-Mart if you are in a somewhat big city.

I spoke to a manager at Kmart and he told me that they are getting them but no pre-orders were being taken. (Company wide) It's first come first served.

I would take with a huge grain of salt as most K-Mart managers don't know what the fuck is going on with their store, espically with electronics.

Like I said earlier (I was the head of Electronics) we were all set to receive some 360's for launch but were literally told a day or two before launch we were getting none and only one store in our district was receiving any.

At K-Mart, the left hand NEVER knows what the right hand is doing.

All I'm saying is that if you definitely want a PS3 don't even bother going to K-Mart. They didn't even allow us to put signs up we weren't getting them so the morning of the 360 launch I had to tell 5 or 6 VERY pissed off people they waited in line all night for nothing.

I went to K-Mart tonight and the dude said they'd be getting them and they open at 8. He also said that people started camping for a Xbox 360 at 9:30 the night before, last year. He didn't know how many he'd be getting, but he said he'd been asked about 15 different times and he only started work at 6 (it was about 8:30).
