Will my new speakers mess up my new lcd screen?

I just got a new set of speakers (Logitech 320s) and putting them near my CRT they started to distort the color. I don't really care because I have a LCD monitor coming to me next week. But if the speakers are too close to the LCD will they mess it up like a CRT monitor?

CRTs are suceptible to magnetic interference but LCDs aren't. Enjoy the new monitor!
