Will PS3 price drop?

I'm looking into buying a ps3 but I don't want to spend over $300 for it. Best Buy is having a deal Sunday to get a $50 gift card with the 160 gb ps3. Is that going to be the best deal in a while, or will ps3 price drop anytime soon? The 160gb is priced at $299... Why isn't there like a 60gb or even like a 20gb for $200-$220

There is really no way for us to truly know if a price drop will be coming, but I don't think one will happen anytime soon. IMO, your best bet it to grab a bundle/giftcard deal (the $50 giftcard deal you mentioned isn't bad at all).

As for hard drive size, a 20gb/60gb wouldn't cut it in the long haul. Many PS3 games have been requiring installations and that eats up your harddrive fast! My PS3 has a 250GB harddrive in it and I am only left with 60gb right now. My second PS3 has a 120GB harddrive in it with less than 10GB left. The 160Gb would serve you well in the long run.
