Will Sears PM K-mart since they are the same company?

So the RockBand SE bundles are $14 or $15 now at K-mart. Good luck finding one at K-Mart though. But I was in my local sears at the mall yesterday and they had a bunch of them. But the sign above them states the pricing being $111.47, and $189.97 for RockBand2, and GH:WT Bundles....

Well I hung out for about 10-15min looking at TV's and such waiting for someone to walk passed and ask if i needed help. But notta.. So i ended up leaving.

So you think or anyone work for either store know if they will price match each other?

They were 14 or 15 dollars, on Clearance. I know of no store that will price match clearance items.

For clearance games, I've been able to have different Sears stores PM each others' clearance prices. Worked for these Sennheiser noise-canceling headphones that I got on clearance, too. On top of that, they gave me 10% back on the price difference.

Sears to Sears clearance PM is possible, but Sears to Kmart clearance PM? Not sure, but you can try. Good luck, OP.

By the way OP, those Rock band SEs are on clearance at Sears, just not as cheap as they are at KMart.

Sears has a price patching policy so they will price match KMart if you bring in proof of the price (ad, receipt, website printout maybe). They will not price match based off your word or a thread on CAG.

And in case you're wondering, KMart will not price match Sears (or anybody else) as they do not have a price matching policy.

Kmart will not price match with Sears. I worked there for two years, and not price matching was one of the biggest complaints we got. We also wouldn't take back Craftsman tools after the merger, but that's another story.

@Josef: They do have a PM policy, but it's so arcane that it's essentially useless. I wish I could remember the details of it, but you had to have printed proof, it could not be a clearance item, and they would call the store to confirm, and that was just to other Kmarts that might be holding different sales.

At my K-Mart, price matches are done on Sear's sale items...As long as they're in an ad. I've seen it done only once...So it could have just been a clueless manager who approved of the sale.
