Famitsu had a Top 10 lists for E3 announcements. I personally think the Wii has been blown out of proportion by the attendees and message boards, and won't be quite as hot as the Nintendo elite make it out to be (they've still yet to acquire any major third party franchises and are just getting offshoots even in Square's lineup). But that list was all PS3. Seriously. I'm kind of sick of the Nintendo fans looting the PS3 boards with spam to the point where even though I grew up with Nintendo I'm offended, and even I think Nintendo got shafted on that list. They could probably do 2 million in Japan alone. They are crazy for it.
It sounds like the problems with supply are going to overshadow the pricing issue and the late dev kits. Top tier software is going to be sparse for a while for this thing, but thanks to the shortage it's no doubt going to face, it's going to be viewed as HOT regardless. And that sort of thing may very well help in the long run. By the time they're actually able to keep some systems on the shelves (which could take over half a year), they might even be able to do a price cut no prob.
