This is 100% for real. All I need is for someone to mail me the actual GameCrazy ad containing the pricing errors for KOTOR 2 and Fight Night Round 2 for 19.99 each.

The games up for trade are (your choice of any one):
(1) Blade 2 (A few very small scratches on game)
(2) Corvette Racing (Near Mint)
(3) Ford Racing 2 (Near Mint)
(4) Super Truck Racing (Near Mint)
(5) XIII (Near Mint)
(6) $5
Near Mint = Game, Box, Manual all in perfect condition - just unsealed

First person to pm me gets choice.....

I'm having a buddy check a GC tonight. If he manages to get more than one I'll mail you one for free.

But since these were apparently mailed to people, I don't know if the stores would have them at all (plus they may be pulling them due to the pricing error.)

I PM'd a while back about finding one, I'll send it out for free if I get one.

Walmart kept my ad, damn those greedy bastards.

Hey if anyone gets a few I'd love to get one mailed my way as well (I don't have high hopes for my friend snagging any.) I'd be willing to PayPal $1 for it.

shrike did you ask to keep it, and they insisted they needed it? I've had places ask to keep an ad, but if I say I still need it, they've always let it go.

I asked to keep it, asked them to take a photocopy of it, and they said they needed it to "reference the price match".

I told them I needed it, and the manager who did the PM override on the register said they had to keep it.

TRU, during PM's for R&C:UYA, asked to keep it 2 out of 3 times that I was there. One of the two times, they grudingly took a photocopy of it.

Won't work, the dates of the ad are on the back page, which isn't shown.

One small issue. The stores in my area are printed on the back, near the back page where the dates of it being valid are at. They might not do it, since it'll show being from my area, which might have whomever's trying to PM it say that it's not from the local area.

I figured it wouldn't work...oh well, I tried.

Ah good info to know. Yeah quite often - especially when the price difference is this great - the CS worker really looks over the ad to make sure the dates are still valid, etc when I do a PM. I think if they noticed that they would deny me for sure. Still I get reps that barely look over the ad often enough. (It's just a pain to go through the hassle of getting to the place and waiting in line if you know there's a legit reason for them to deny you.)

And as far as them keeping the ad, I'd handle that just like you. Ask to keep it, but if it's clear I'm going to have to give up the ad to score the PM, I'd certainly do that.
