So I stumbled across this website called http://www.biddey.com/ which basically is an auction site for items such as iPod Touches, 3G iPhones, HTVs and what not. But the interesting thing about how it works is that you try and win the auction by placing the lowest unique bid. This means that you have to be the only person to place that bid at that value, and it has to be the lowest bid value compared to all other unique bids.
Whats the catch?
Well the problem is that you must place a bidding fee per a bid you bid on. This ranges from $1 (iPhone) to $5 (Samsumg 63 HDTV) per a bid.The interesting thing that I noticed is that people who win the auctions are people who string bid from $0.01 to like $3.00.
Where the hell am I gonna get that kinda money?!
Well! As a fairly new CAGGER, I have a plan. Basically for signing up under someone, you get $10 for bidding. That means 10 bids. For every person that signs up YOU get $10 for bidding. Find 10-30 people to do a simple sign up under your e-mail address, and you'd rack up enough points to hopefully win that new HDTV you wanted.
BUT I DUN WANNA GO THROUGH A MESSY SIGN UP!
The sign up for the website is VERY simple and can be done in less than 5 minutes. All it takes is the typical name, e-mail (well duh), DOB, Address (well they have to send it somewhere), and your phone number (I ono...use a fake one?). Its a simple process and even if you don't plan on using biddey, theres no cost to signing up at all.
So how do I get the $10 for free sign up?
It's simple. When you sign up. Use your referer's (me please
[email protected]) e-mail address when they ask for it in the sign up field. That way I get $10 and you get $10 free for bidding. But remeber Don't go wasting those $10s right away! Save it up on an item you want, and string bid 200-300 bids!
