Again, thanks OP! I won for the second week in a row! You have to remember to enter every day. I even entered today before they sent the codes out. If you enter seven times, you're guaranteed to win a code.
 
I've won a couple of times as well. I hope this contest goes on for another month or two at least :D

Agreed. I've entered daily since this was posted, but I still haven't won.
 
Damn its crazy seeing people who win these things multiple times. I have done multiple versions of this like the skate 2 one they had going on awhile back and have sent in well over 50 texts if not 100 and have yet to win anything. I guess some people just have no luck lol
 
ive checked online before for something like that but it seems that u have to pay for all of them. and most that i looked at seemed to be a scam.

i know that the ipod touch has an app that allows you to text for free. but idk if it allows you to text to 5 digit nubers
 
It might charge you like 1 cent or require you to have "premium txts" just to verify it's a real phone. It doesn't charge you anything major as far as I can see, this is a legit contest provider that has done this many times before.

I didn't read through all the pages of this thread but just wanted to throw it out there that you can text FENDER to 74139 also for a chance to win 400ms pts. I just won 400ms on Tuesday. Spotted this T-Mobile in game ad in Need for Speed: Shift.

Looks like NBA is still accepted, and you can't enter with both NBA and FENDER on the same day.
AFAICT, the only fees would be whatever you pay for messaging, if anything.
 
Thanks for the heads up on this. Don't have a 360, but I wouldn't mind having some codes to trade or give away in contests here on CAG!

EDIT: Have two phones, so I'll enter FENDER and NBA each day - one per phone.

Well, that's both good and bad. You not owning a 360 would eliminate 99% of the things I could offer you in trade. :lol:
 
You can enter any of the following in the text to that number:

NBA, MLB, SKATE, FENDER, FIGHT

However, no matter which one of those you choose to enter in the text, it counts as ONE (1) entry for that day.
 
Tried doing this on my phone (I live in Canada) and it doesn't work. Shame though, I would have liked some points.

I still haven't won despite doing it for 3 weeks now. I want to know, for those who won multiple times, if there's a certain pattern, such as:
- sending in the same code for multiple days?
- which cell phone carrier? (I have AT&T)
- sending in at certain times of the day

not rly. its basically just luck. i know its not cell phone carrier since i have verizon. and i would doubt its time of day since they pick winners on tuesdays.
 
I use Sprint and I've won two weeks in a row, (out of the three I've tried). I have no texting technique, only that I text everyday. I always get my winning text around 2PM Eastern time. I also only text NBA, as it is the shortest and easiest to do.
 
You don't have to enter each week. Just texting them once automatically enters you in each week. I've won the last 3 times and only entered once.

Really? That's very interesting. Perhaps this will help me save some text messages, although I rarely use up my text message plan every month. Can anyone else confirm if this is the case?

Only standard text messaging rates apply, so it depends on your package with your provider.
 
Really hope they do this for a few more weeks as I need more points to afford the "Stimulus Package".... $15 is ridiculous...

This is probably true because I entered the first week and got a text message for two two weeks in a row. However, it said "Premium Messaging is Blocked" or something, so I couldn't actually read what the message said. Maybe I should contact Verizon and unblock what is blocked just in case I win tomorrow and/or future Tuesdays.
