Win A Psp,ps2 & Games At Mcdonalds

CAGiversary!
Starting on July 5th you can win Playstation stuff when you buy a Big Mac or Large fries. But there is a TWIST to this game, that winning is based on TIME. Thats right, if you enter your code at a certain time you will win. It is not based on which code you have, but when you enter it. Here is what is said on the site:

The odds of winning a prize are based on time. All prizes are randomly seeded at designated times (each a "Winning Time") throughout each day during the entry period (i.e. July 5, 2005 through the Entry Deadline) by a computer program that takes projected user activity into account. As a result, 51% of the prizes are allocated between 12:00 p.m. EST and to 7:59:59 p.m. EST, when user activity is expected to be the highest. Therefore, the projected odds of winning a prize are 1:95,404 based on the number of milliseconds in the entire entry period. The first person to play on or after the designated "Winning Time" will be the potential winner of the prize. If multiple participants play at the exact same time, the potential winner will be determined by a random selection of all participants who have arrived at that time. For the Video Game Prizes (c, d & e) if no one plays at the selected Winning Time, the prize will remain available until it is awarded or the next Winning Time occurs. For the PSP and PS2 system prizes (a & b) all prizes will be made available and will remain available until they are awarded or the Game ends, whichever is sooner.

The prizes are as follow:
a) 5,000 psp units
b) 6,750 ps2
c) 5,000 psp games (Ape Escape®: On the Loose (Rated 'E' for Everyone); ATV O ffroad Fury® Blazin' Trails (Rated E); Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee™ (Rated E); Twisted Metal: Head On™ (Rated 'T' for Teens) or Wipeout® Pure (Rated E)
d) 15,000 ps2 games (Gran Turismo™ 4 (Rated E): World Tour Soccer 2006 (Rated E) or Ratchet and Clank®: Up Your Arsenal (Rated T)
e) 20,000 ps2 greatest hits games (ATV Offroad Fury® 2 (Rated E); Jak II™ (Rated E); Ratchet and Clank®: Going Commando (Rated T)

The total number of prizes is 51,750

I dunno, think I like the Monopoly game better. At least you know you've won something instantly instead of having to do all this nonsense.

Wonder who's going to hack it first.

I would focus on the mountain dew 360 contest instead of this. Because this would require actually EATING at McDonalds, which we all know cannot technically be done, because they do not serve that which is edible.

The Super Size Me guy did it (see the film for proof), and it only caused him to gain 30 pounds and feel sick for a month. :D

I'm pretty sure you mean there are 5,000 PSPs to be won, not that the odds of winning a PSP is 1 out of 5,000, etc.

^^Oh yeah, let's also forget about the jump in cholesterol by 65 points, the massive liver damage, and oh wait, the fact that he was already in tip top shape before he started.

I think they are just giving away psps so they can claim higher market share (not really).

I ate at 2 different McDonalds over the course of a week, after not having eaten there in over 10 years. I got sick 2 for 2. There is a tolerance for that poison involved, and I dont have it anymore

yes, read Fast Food Nation, or watch SuperSize Me before entering any fast food joint.

let's see.....your health, or maybe a shot at prizes worth $250, er....

Eating 1 big mac or 1 large fry doesn't do shit.

I just got the Big Mac Value Meal (#1) last night and the gamepiece only came on the Big Mac box. My large fries' container was just plain red with no gamepiece. :whistle2:(

Well, I just got another Big Mac Value Meal and now the codes came on the fries and the big mac box. Unfortunately, I didn't win.

I got a combo with large fries today.. nothing on the fries.. asked, and was told it was on the cup.. she even pointed it out.. except.. she pointed right at teh fine print, the "no purchase nevessary" part.

Her: "See? It's right there!"
Me: "Oh, okay, yeah."
*four second pause*
Me: "I'm confused."
Her: "OH! It's only on big mac boxes!"

..so I got my code, entered, and.. won nothing. But got a $5 off PS2 game at Best Buy or something.
