Win FAMILY GUY: BLUE HARVEST (star wars spoof) on DVD!

im sure this episode gonna be on the next season set. why would they do that separately and charges $15? its just like 45mins.

Hey Proto. Is there anything else on the dvd other than that one episode and commentaries or whatever. I want it but I can't justify paying $15 for one episode when a season set is usually $30 - $40.

Yeah, I was interested in this and I would buy if it was like an hour and a half...but at only 45 minutes this surely will be either: included in other sets, or have a huge price drop.

I had the same issue with Blood: the last vampire when it came out on DVD, they wanted like $20+ for a 45 minute movie or something...

That's what I was thinking. I'll take it if I win it but if not I'll wait until season 6 comes out.

It's sort of like that 3 part episode about Stewie from the future although that one came out on DVD first and then was broken up and shown as part of the season.

Except this was shown as part of a season, but due to the nature of the episode, they thought they'd put it on DVD and label it as a movie. Clever marketing I say.

i entered, i havent seen it and want to. i also entered to win it on GameInformers contest along with mr. woodcock dvd

I doubt that this will be in the next DVD set. It might come bundled with it as a special deal but not in the actual set. They prbably had to pay tons of royalties for all of the John Williams music and Lucas is probably getting a big chunk of the money made from this as well. I think they just put this out because of the writers strike. It's going to be a while before that gets setteled and from what I understand, there's a few episodes of the current season that were put on hold because of the strike. My first reaction to finding about this was that they were totally just trying to cash in and that's probably the case.
