Hmmm. For some reason when I click on Uno it says This app is not available for your device. But whenever it was $4.99 it was available for purchase.
Just means it hasn't updated in your area yet. It happened to me earlier, then when Mix mentioned it in this thread of the price change, it reflected on my phone so I purchased it fine for that price. You just need to give it some time to update and reflect the price change, am sure they are working on it.
Just a quick update i already 200/200 it :p
Yeah it's super easy. I got 175/200 last night before falling asleep. Just need to win one medium and hard game and I'll be done with it.

haha yeah i got almost all the achievement in the tournament just those last 3 i needed to play on all 3 difficulty the only one that have me a problem was the Normal one had to play that twice to unlock because i lost the 1st time lol other then that the Easy and Hard was 1st try :)

I'm really disappointed with how easy this game is. The AI doesn't up a fight at all and it seems like every time I call Uno, no matter what is in play at the time, the "player" before me plays precisely what I need in order to win. I mean, the game is still fun, but not as fun as it should be.

I have the worst luck at Uno, so I'm hoping the Normal and Hard games don't take way too long.

EDIT: Oh wow, you only have to win 1 hand on Normal and Hard. I thought you had to win the whole game. That makes it way easier. That said, still took me 8 hands before my first hand on Normal. I hate Uno.

Yeah you have to win the 1st hand on Easy,Normal, And Hard on Quick Play if you lose your first hand it you will not get the achievement but like @ ZombieToast the CPU just give you the wins sometime well at least for me i would have a Blue Card left when i call uno and they would just change the Color to Blue some how and i would just win lol.. and on the Tournament i probably only lost one time but at least I lost on a round that wasn't for a Achievement lol

I was streaming music from the nokia app for about three hours then downloaded a few playlists when I got access to WiFi. Played for another three hours and still had half battery left. During regular use, it will go about a day and a half before it starts beeping.
Battery is much better now. Phone has been unplugged for 12 hours and I have around 40% battery.

Connect 4 is .99. Wasn't it 2.99?
Good eye, it was $2.99. I just bought it for $.99.

My opinion of Connect 4 increased with the drop in price. No way was it worth $2.99, but for $0.99 and lowered expectations, it's passable. My wife and I got some mindless fun out of local pass and play. The load times are inexcusable though for a game that only uses one screen, and the game has crashed my phone on more than one occasion. Simply poor programming.

Connect 4 crashes my phone worse than anything I've ever experienced. Every 20 games or so, it crashes my Lumia 900 to the point where I can't even turn it off and I have to wait 10+ minutes for the phone to time itself out and auto-shutdown and reset. It's staggering how such a simplistic game can be so poorly made and crash a phone to the extremes that it does. Awful.

Can someone with a Lumia verify if Mirror's Edge price has changed?

Also, my phone finally shipped today... Just 5 days before Amazon will have the Lumia 920 on sale for a dollar, argh.

It's not official, but I heard it through the grapevine. I actually would have cancelled my order today in favor of waiting for Amazon's sale, but now it's shipped so I probably should just keep it...

As for the Black Friday sale, last year there was a BF week sale on 3 games that started the Tuesday that week. We may see a similar deal this week - still waiting on word from Microsoft. Heck, Mirror's Edge might even be a BF week thing from Nokia.

Cool, free Mirrors Edge :D Thank you!

Mr. EastX, can you please give us the inside scoop on when Instagram will be coming to WP? Any predictions?

Woo Hoo! Got Mirror's Edge free on my WP7. Very nice little freebie, although Nokia owes me one for purchasing that POS Connect 4 a few days ago, so I'll accept this as an apology.

Well, looks like there is a Black Friday sale for WP!! When I fired up my 360 and scrolled over to the 2012 black Friday sales, there's a tab for windows phones discounts. And here they are.....

Mush-$1.99 (33% off)
Carcassonne-$1.99 (33% off)
Gravity Guy-$1.99 (33% off)
Cracking Sands-$1.99 (33% off)
Sonic 4 Episode 1-$1.99 (60% off)
AssCreed: Altairs Chronicles-$1.99 (60% off)

Other than Carcassonne which I already own, I'll be getting all these games!!

Thanks for sharing. I'll probably grab Carcassone and Cracking Sands. Mush is a really fun, relaxing game. Highly recommended. Gravity Guy is also great. Sonic 4 is meh and haven't got around to playing Altair's Chronicles yet, which ironically I bought last year during their Black Friday sale.

Im downloading the demos for Assassins Creed and Cracking sand to see if ill buy any of those.Im not sure about Gravity Guy i have it on my ipod and it doesnt seem to keep my attention for more than 10 min.

No problem. And 6 games on sale at once (2 of which are quite new) is the best WP7 Xbox Live sale we've ever had. Last year was only 3 older games, and the prices were much worse.

I'm just not impressed because they're not games that I'm interested in enough to pay those prices (although I do want two of them...eventually). For anyone who really wants those games now, I'm sure it's a fantastic sale.
At last:

Celebrate Black Friday with a massive Xbox WP Sale

Two more Nokia exclusives pop up

I put a lot of time into the BF article, so please check it out and comment. I need those comments!
I did, thanks for linking the review and all right away too. Do you happen to have any idea when you all will be getting accessories for the NL 810 on your site? Oh and did you all ever give away any codes for the wpcentral app? Think I missed that..

Thanks for commenting on the article, Benjamouth, Intoxicated, Tyler, MastrMeatWad, and anyone else who did!

Since we have a bunch of new people in the thread lately, I'll repeat why comments are important:

One, they show developers and publishers that readers have interest in the story - it's the only way they can tell. A good number of comments leads to us getting more stories and being taken more seriously.

Two, my bosses actually compare and judge the writers by the number of comments our articles get, so a high number of comments helps keep them happy with me.

I put a lot of effort into just about everything I write, as well as maintaining this thread, so please show support by commenting whenever possible. Appreciate it, fellas!

Great sale on WP games. Probably will get AC and Sonic for those prices. I can't recommend Mush enough, fantastic game IMO.

A separate question. Does anyone know how to transfer your purchases from a Windows phone to another phone. Let me explain, I am planning to upgrade to the Lumia 920 and Windows Phone 8. I currently have a HTC gen one Windows Phone 7 (HTC Surround). I have bought a ton of games for WP7 (and thanks to eastx for his game reviews and keeping this thread updated exceptionally well) and I bet they can be transfered over. Are these purchases attached to my account ID (hotmail/xbox account)?

I just don't know if I get charged again for the games; or do I need to transfer them to the new phone somehow; or are they really all in my account and I can just re-download them for "free" on the new phone once activated with my Windows ID email? Again, just looking for clarification, I think I know the answer, but wanted to ask more knowledgeable people who might have done this upgrade "change-phone" step before. Thanks

Loving my new Lumia 920 and may actually start paying for games! I downloaded demos for all the games on sale and am leaning toward picking up Creed, Mush, and Gravity Guy. I'm not crazy about the virtual analog stick used in some of these, but it worked better for me in Creed than in Sonic.

Wow, that's surprising to hear. IMO the stick works much better in Sonic 4 than Assassin's Creed, which has wonky controls (mainly when you have to walk at non-45 degree angles).

You're welcome. Yes, you can redownload a game by visiting its store page and choosing to Buy it once again. Instead of a payment confirmation screen, you'll be asked if you want to redownload.

Thank you for the info. Gonna upgrade my phone in the next few days, most likely to the Lumia 920, sounds great.

I recommend the Amazon Black Friday sale, though AT & T will also be offering the Lumia 920 for $49 over the weekend. Remember, the blue and yellow colors are only available online.

I think my experience was heavily influenced by the speed of the games. Maybe I'll still get Sonic now though for the extras in Ep 2. Now that I think about it, Cracking Sands wasn't bad, and maybe I can use a third version of Carcassonne. Too bad there's no bundle!
