Sucks I bought them already... Was hoping Seasons and Space would be free too because I haven't bought them yet
Checked WPC when I woke up to see if they had any news about why they are free. The article had an update that said people in the comments were getting Seasons and Space free, but they were from Taiwan. Some people were getting Amazing Alex free too. It depends where you live.

EDIT: Cut the Rope Exp. is also free in U.S. Regular Cut the Rope free elsewhere.

It's funny, but nowadays I am shocked when I hear the words "free" and "Microsoft" in the same sentence without the word "ban" somewhere in there.

I was pleasantly surprised with Cut the Rope Exp. Easy gamerscore and collecting stars was addicting. I might buy the classic version this week.

I decided to pick up that Assassin's Creed game. Well worth the 99 cents. I have Mirror's Edge on IOS, but I'll probably go ahead and pick it up for 99 cents. I'm also strongly considering Crimson Dragon, it looks quite fun.

On a side note, I got my first 200/200 on my phone today with jetpack joyride. That 5km Cheevo took some work.

I was thinking about Crimson Dragon, but the achievement guide made it sound more like a f2p game.

Picked up Skulls of the Shogun. $2 is a nice price for it.

Crimson Dragon is a pretty short game that tries to vary it up by adding different challenges to the stages in the additional game modes. It is sort of like a f2p game in that you can use real money to buy in-game money for power-ups, but the GPS feature of the game racks up money pretty fast if you have any sort of daily work commute. I earned so much money from my commute, that it stopped giving me money once I racked up thousands of miles.

Very few will probably get all the skill based achievements in the game, but that shouldn't dissuade you out of a good game for only $0.99. If you don't like the demo though, then you wouldn't like the full game.

Crimson Dragon is a great WP game.  One of my favorites.  And you unlock avatar items if memory serves me correct.  Definitely one of the must-have WP games and at 99 cents is a steal.

I have Skulls of the Shogun on my phone but I am waiting for a sale for it on my Surface.  It's a great game as well.

Anyone have any favorites of the lesser-known Xbox Live Windows 8 games?  Like Field & Streams Fishing, Royal Envoy 2, etc...

Rayman Jungle Run is the red stripe deal of the day for $.99 .....AGAIN!  :bomb:

On the plus side, the Windows 8 version of Rayman Jungle Run is also on sale for $1.49. Good time to pick up the tablet and PC version if you haven't already.

I don't think I like this game enough to pick up the Win8 version.

I wish Microsoft would do a weekly red stripe deal for Windows 8. Then I may pick up some games other than the free Gameloft crap.

Got WP8 a couple days after Rayman stopped being on sale last time. Bought it right away this time. Having a lot of fun with it.

I hope we get the new Rayman game soon.

Crap. The one game I was looking forward to from the Gameloft announcement isn't compatible with my phone. I hope the Windows 8 version comes out soon.  :whistle2:x

It looks like a weird error, as if the game wasn't supposed to be released yet. Checking into it now.

It's not that I couldn't download the game. I got it on my SD card and tried to install it manually. The phone specs are not listed on the page, but I don't think my half Gig of RAM is cutting it. When I try to install it says it's not available for my device.

Can you post the link? My phone hasn't updated the store yet. And I read elsewhere that nobody can run it, so don't lose hope.

Kingdoms & Lords mysteriously became available for my phone today. I guess someone didn't flip the right switch during the soft launch.

Like all Gameloft games it comes with a complementary host of bugs. I've experienced the notifications getting turned on too.

Anybody having "haunted" phone problems lately? Such as voice commands (hold home button) turning on by itself and volume going from 5 to 25 in a second. All while not touching the phone. 2nd time in a week. Frustrating when your music is pausing constantly or playing Rayman.

^^^Sounds like an awesome trip to SF, Paul. Have fun! Will be looking forward to the write-up.

Really liking FC Rocket and think it was a dollar well spent. Getting money is painfully slow though, but it's not like I have any new WP7 games to play. Game eats battery life like crazy though on my Nokia Lumia 900.
