well they dont make wireless ear buds, but Ive seen wireless behind-the-head style at radioshack for $50~ (on sale?). Ive been hard up for a pair myself.
The sound quality is pretty good. It even has FF/RW/Play/Pause/Volume controls on the headset if you have a compatible iPod.
Yeah, the plastic part is a bit fragile. But you can reenforce it with some tapes/metal. If it's too tight, you can use boiling water to make it wider. Just google around for the mods.
Logitech is making a new version that has more durable design. But it's $100+. If you shop around, you can get this ~$30/$40.
