Wonder Woman TV Show: NBC says No thank you :(

oh god. you guys acting like those designer guys on reality tv. stop it already and you guys are acting like this because you have zero chance of getting with her in the wonder woman costume and out of her costume. I am glad everyone here has the luxury of being picky. If she was in my bed, I would be kicking her out like the rest of you. lol.
 
Ya know, I actually like their original idea for the costume better (with the exception of making her boots red). There's like a 99% chance the show gets cancelled anyway. Might as well dress her up like an expensive prostitute and let us enjoy the ride.

dude I don't care how hot or strong the chick is, but if I caught someone trampling on the roof of my car , I'd stab her! Shooting someone who wears bullet defecting bracelets would be pointless. :|

not surprised they didnt run with it. the direction they seemed to be going for it was wrong. less girly more xena would have been a better choice. plus i doubt they would have given it any time to build an audience and they wouldnt take any risks with it.

Well at least they showed the pilot and gave it a few episodes before canceling it. With this, either it's gonna be on ifucking tunes, XBOX Live (please!) or torrent :( Guess no one wants a female action series ...oh but Nikita gets a full season?!?!!

Exactly what pitfallharry219 and I were getting at. If NBC was willing to give something as bad as The Cape a chance, the pilot for Wonder Woman had to have been REALLY bad for them to pass.

Nikita didn't get a full season - Maggie Q got a full season. She is en el fuego.

To be fair, once bitten twice shy. When something works (ala American Idol) they endlessly copy it to death. If the ratings nosedive, they take it out back and shoot it.
 
Networks like NBC do focus groups for their pilots before they get released. I'm betting it did bad enough in focus groups that they decided to can it instead of trying to retool it.
