We are trying to stop those damned dirty critical errors that have been happening so frequently...thanks for your patience.

We just made some changes that hopefully will fix the problem.
Kindly let us know (in this thread) any errors or issues that spring up that may be database related.

Nothing major in terms of functionality, just switching some stuff around and doing some (search engine friendly) cleanup.

You'll notice that that the last post icons will be swapped out for a text link with the date/time of the last post. Right now, i've only made a few changes to the index, but more will follow.

o_O o_O o.o O.O Weeeeeiiiiird, it's blowing my mind man! It'll take some getting used to, since I'm waiting for that little icon to appear and it never does. :(
 
Cheapy, is there any way to make it easier to get to certain pages/posts in huge threads like this?

The way it is now only lets you go to the first 3 pages and the last 3 pages, and then 1 page at a time. Like if I wanted to go directly to page 50 in that thread. Sorry if it's confusing.

It could be useful when new users are looking through feedback, etc.

I agree. That is something that is desperately needed and should be included in every forum. The other day I was searching for something, but had to suffer through page after page instead of easily getting to page X that I wanted to see.

Frankly the way it is now doesn't make sense. Why would we be interested in only the first and last few pages - especially in a search??

I noticed you can't click on usernames in the forums anymore. Is this a permanent change or just due to all the upgrading? Thanks!
 
I miss being able to click on someones profile from the forum and no last-post button and its only been 5 minutes. :( I'm not to happy with the changes, but if it makes the site run better its worth it.

I too, am going to voice and say that this is something I hope is changed. It would make things a lot easier to find!

It kind of bugs me because it's pretty big, but I guess I'll get used to it soon enough.

Anyone catch any specific error messages, other than the ever so helpful, "can't connect, critical error" message?

edit: I think I know the problem...I think we are very close to solving these annoying errors.

I think you got it.
I was trying to replicate the error to get you the error message, but could not get the error to replicate.

I personally like the large number at the bottom where it shows what page of a topic you are on.

I just got a couple of critical errors.

One was trying to send some pm's the other was just trying to access the site.
 
I got one around 4pm. Critical Error, but it was "Error Creatiing New Session" or something like that. Refreshed a couple of times and it was gone.
