The next scheduled play sessions for the World of Tanks®: Xbox 360 Edition are as follows:

1. Friday, August 2nd at 07:00am PDT - Saturday, August 3rd at 01:00am PDT (US and Canada)

2. Saturday, August 3rd at 07:00am PDT - Sunday, August 4th at 01:00am PDT (US and Canada)

3. Sunday, August 4th at 07:00am PDT - Monday, August 5th 01:00am PDT (US and Canada)

I got to play a little bit this afternoon.  It seems like it could be fun but I kept getting wrecked.  The only three things you can do ATM are upgrade your two starting tanks slightly, take a tutorial run, and jump into quick match.  Hopefully they add more stuff as the beta goes on.

 
Was hoping I'd be able to use my top tier tanks, but alas, seems like its on its own server cluster :p

Not sure it's worth it to restart if you played on PC and invested time into it. Control's seem a bit more precise for the console vs the PC however.

 
Yeah got to play, not much to it other than shoot and hide/move. I mean all I saw was you get the option to use two small tanks and the store page had coming soon plastered all over it.

 
Did everyone else get the update where they gave us like a million of each of the currencies ?

I have a Tier 4 and Tier 5 tank now but I'm worried how long it will take me to get them back when the game is released for everyone.

Not sure how much fun it will be going back to a Tier 1 as I can't see me pouring hours into this.

For those that have played before how long would it take a player of average ability to get to a Tier Light Tank for example ?

If it is anything like the PC, not long at all really.

Skill does not really play a role either until your T8+ I'd say. It's debatable, but until that point in time you can do pretty bad and still increase and not lose cash. Later on though, if your the first one out or something the money really starts to hurt.

Going to really depend how much they change it up for the 360 though. It's already missing a ton compared to its PC counterpart.

Thanks that's good info to know, not sure how much I'll enjoy it if you get penalised for dying early. My usual trick is to rush toward the enemy with a light tank, get as many spots as I can then try and ram someone :)

The Beta will be online and available to play this coming weekend at the days and times listed below. This is just the beginning. We will notify Beta participants on all future play times as they happen.

1. Thursday, July 25th at 7:00am PDT - Friday, July 26th at 1:00am PDT (US and Canada)

2. Friday, July 26th at 7:00am PDT - Saturday, July 27th at 01:00am PDT (US and Canada)

3. Saturday, July 27th at 7:00am PDT - Sunday, July 28th at 01:00am PDT (US and Canada)

It's back!  I have a extra token for trade if anyone wants in. Pretty fun game as soon as you get the hang of things.
