Post your opinion and why......

Here are a few from my experience:

Red Ninja (Xbox) - uncontrollable camera..... when you move the thumbstick to change the camera.... it swings around wildly and is uncontrollable and you can't change the sensitivity

Unlimited Saga (PS2)- game just sucked, it is like reading a comic book rather than playing a game

Surfing H3O (PS2) - here's how the game goes...... Press Start--> shows you on a surfboard---> you wipe out within 3 seconds no matter what you do with the controller---> End game

Custer's Revenge.

Any game that's about raping an indian woman tied to a cactus is automatically the worst game ever.
Stuntman (PS2). Great concept. Horrible execution. Terrifyingly bad.
I loved Stuntman, as did a lot of other people. I know some people were put off by the insane difficulty level and the loading times, but it didn't bother me.

I thought it was good, too. I didn't find it spectacular, but it was fun.

Stake...look at the other thread for most of my reasons, but I'll type out some more. A fighter with only two buttons on a psuedo-world map that is supposed to be a party game. Absolute garbage. Boring. Linear. Tedious. Retarded A.I. Characters that look as though the designer simply looked at the Street Fighter characters and copied them. OMG, there's so much wrong with that game it isn't even funny.

Edit: You know what, I'm probably one of the unfortanute few that actually opened this game and played it.

Getaway: Black Monday - I got it for free when EB had it on sale (used credit, got a voucher back) and I still felt like I got ripped off

I am going to say any old sports game. yes I know Nhl 94 was awesome and blah blah. However after about 8 months the game costs about 2 bucks and then new one comes out they update the roster and then the cycle starts out again. Then you have half your collection of old sports games that collect dust no one wants them etc. I think that sports games should be like this you buy a copy one year and then every year download all of the updates. I know that not everyone has internet etc. However just agree with me on this one. :D

Although I agree that yearly updates at full price are annoying, Tecmo Bowl and Baseball Stars make you entire post invalid.

I found it neither fun nor good. It wasn't too difficult for me (it was more frustrating and less challenging, which turned me off), I just flat didn't like it. A LOT. I REALLY didn't like it. But whatever. Everyone's got their own taste.

It wasn't that easy. It took me a few turns to beat each level which was annoying. But i really liked the concept and the gameplay was decent. We all aren't gonna agree on everything, though. as you said.

Anyone here ever play TRAG? It was an awful Resident Evil clone on the PS1. I bought it a couple years back for like $4. I thought to myself "how bad can it be?" Famous last words...

Take RE, replace the monsters with robots and terrorists and then remove all the fun. I still wake up in a cold sweat at night from nightmares given to me by that piece of trash.

I'll add my vote for Superman 64 as well. This is without a doubt the biggest steaming pile of a game I have ever played. Luckily I didn't buy it, but I did play it at a TRU on a demo station. The idea of flying around a 3d city was awesome, this was before the days of your Grand Theft Autos of course. The first thing you notice when you set out to do your Super Hero duties is that you can't see ten feet in front of you because of the FOG OF DOOM . The game has a terrible draw in distance so there is fog everwhere. What makes it even worse is that the developer tries to make this a part of the game and work it into the storyline! We are supposed to believe this crap? Whatever. You get to enjoy this if you can ever fly. Good luck trying to controll superman. He will move about 3 seconds after you push the controll stick and no, I'm not really exaggerating. Flying isn't a simple press of a button either, as far as I can remember. What else is there to look forward to? Well, a large part of the game has you flying through rings for one reason or another. Maybe to recharge your engergy that the Fog of Doom is sapping. Thanks to GS for this sample of 'fun' you can have in Superman. Please, only look. Don't attempt to play or you'll be a scarred for life.

well since you didnt mean it, ill say it

the halo series

i seriously dont understand why people love this game so much. get a PC people and learn what a FPS is, or go buy ninja gaiden and play the xbox's best game
Universal Studios for the Gamecube.
I actually bought that on launch. Temporary insanity.

Whether people understand why there is so much love for Halo or not...

This is about Worst Games Ever made...and even if you don't like Halo, it is no where near that realm. The Halo games (unlike other games) aren't excessively buggy, unplayable, or frequently crash, or untrue to their arcade counterpart.

One of the worst I have ever played is Pac-Man on the Atari 2600. It was nothing like the arcade. The control, animation, the graphics...everything was designed poorly.

That all depends if you're going by technical achievement or the more general "is it fun?"

I don't play many (if any) "bad" games, but Devil May Cry is one of the least-fun I've ever experienced.

Since this topic has come up before, I will post a few :)

NES: Bayou Billy (so impossible)
SNES: Anything remotely close to Chuck Rock (like Rocky Rodent)
Sega CD: Almost all the FMV games. I always hated Kriss Kross, they never made me jump jump.
3DO: Blade Force ... I'm sure there are a ton of others, but besides FMV games this one really stood out as crap to me
Genesis: read above for SNES
Dreamcast: I really didn't HATE any of the games for the system. Sonic Shuffle takes forever to load though and the gameplay sucks hard, and I don't like wrestling games but that's mostly opinion based :p
PS1: Jupiter Strike - worst PS1 game EVER
PS2: Unlimited Saga - ugh what the hell were they thinking?
GCN: Wind Waker ... only because it was a huge disappointment
XBOX: Any game like PGR that took too long to unlock everything. How much time does one person have to spend on one game when there are so many others out there?

Alright, I think that's good :)

Legacy of Goku for GBA hands down. I guarantee they didn't spend more than 24 hours making it. I bet their budget for making the game was around $1000.

At least crap games like Superman 64 took a lot of $$$ to make.

Lets see....

Rise of the Robots (Saturn)
Frank Thomas Big Hurt Baseball (Saturn)
Hybrid Heaven (N64)
Revolution X (Saturn)
Sewer Shark (Sega CD)

I could probably do this all day but I won't. I am glad I bought a Saturn when it was $399.99. So all you cheap asses complaining about the 360 need to kick my ass.

On a side note, M Dew doesn't shrink your penis... it lowers your sperm count.

I agree 100%
First person to say "ET" gets the cliche award.
ET is the correct answer.

Pac-Man (2600) was pretty bad, but I remember playing it A LOT. So I can't say it was the worst ever. Although I probably played quite a bit of ET as well.

Dragon Power on the NES...... Good lord.... to think my teenage wallet was raped of $50 dollars for the god-awful piece of dragon crap.

NES: Bayou Billy (so impossible)
QUOTE]

Bayou Billy is a good game. Sure it's impossible, but it has some of the best music on the nes. It has good light gun, driving, and street fighting levels. Maybe it's just because I played the game since I was 5, but it surely isn't the worst game on the nes.

Predator: Concrete Jungle for the Xbox. Holy shit, if there ever was a franchise that didn't need another shit-ball to add onto the list, Predator was it. Generally, its problems are too numerous to list, but here's a few examples:

-The typical camera problems (such as one that latched onto the interiors of buildings)
-Horrendous fighting controls
-Final Fantasy X-quality pre-rendered cutscenes, but PS1 in-game graphics
-Sound effect quality straight off the SNES
-Once you run out of item refills, you run out forever

How the hell IGN gave Predator: Concrete Jungle a 7.6 is beyond me... Then again, it is IGN.

I think the worst game I've ever played would have to be Azurik for the xbox

Game informer said "this game will be amazing buy it as soon as possible!" So I bought it the day it came out (I didn't even have my xbox yet) for 50 dollars by trading in a good amount of ps2 games. A couple weeks later a new gameinformer came out which reviewed the game giving it like a 4.5 rating. I promptly cancelled my game informer subscription.

I played and beat Bayou Billy myself when I was younger. I only did it because I hated the game so much, and I was masochistic. The only note worthy music was in level 1, and it got really annoying after a while because you'd have to play it like 1000 times to get through it. It's one of the worst games I have ever played. The driving portions made me almost throw the controller through the TV. The enemies were cheap, the crocs did too much damage, there's too much going on in the driving portion, the gun portion is annoying ... there's not a single thing I like about that game actually :)

I would rather have played TMNT, Little Nemo, Ninja Gaiden, and even that other shitty game Solar Jetman any day of the week before loading up sorry ass Bayou Billy again.
