Worst Online Game Experience

no, it's the principal of the thing, you aren't supposed to make 7vs1 comp stomp games so you can make your record better. the point is, that people who think so highly of their record are idiots. so I backstab them to teach them a lesson. pure entertainment right there. and, I am not exploiting a glitch in the game or anything. I am just one of the enforcers of starcraft justice. :p
You're part of the problem.
what problem? no real gamer would join a 7vs1 comp stomp game. I always play fair in real games. I'm just weeding out the sore losers/bad players that will boast about their high rank(and having fun while doing it), when it means nothing if you beat a 7vs1 game.
Ok... so no "real gamer" would join a 7vs 1 comp stomp but real gamers totally ruin other gamers experience?

Sorry to say but everyone else here is right, you are part of the problem. If scores honestly didn't matter to you, you wouldn't have made that room to do that. It matters to you because people are getting their ranks in weak ways.

Don't say you don't care at all when you obviously do, and don't be a punk about it either. Scores don't matter to you then it shouldn't phase you that people make 7vs1comp stomps.

I don't play Online games at all because of the hoarde of retards i run into. And i don't speak on Xbox Live, except Splinter Cell Pandora tomorrow, because the general mentality of the XBL gamers annoy me sorry.

At least for the moment, I am not an online gamer -- I believe in the art of a singular experience rather than the sociability of the gaming medium. I play games as a form of escapist entertainment, away from the everyday real-life jerks and idiots.

While there are a fair share of online games that encourage community and cooperation, most games are competitive by nature (even MMORPGs may fall into this category) and that tends to bring out the worst in people. I do love playing multiplayer games with people in the same room but the anonymity of online gaming and unfamiliarity with fellow gamers allows too many miscreants to run amok. If I am paying a good $10-20 a month to play online, I expect a far better experience than what is available to me right now.

As crazy as Satoru Iwata can sound whenever he opens his mouth, I actually find myself agreeing with the Nintendo president when he says that he believes that customers simply do not want online gaming right now and that it is several years away from reaching a point of profitability (which I believe will come not just with lowered costs but at a point of maturity for the infrastructure).

As for a personal worst experience, I've had too many Counter-Strike stories similar to what have already been recounted. I got out of that game 4 years ago because I was tired of dealing with people who have no sense of humaneness.

halflife 2 dm with the WHOLE opposing team sing-screaming into their head sets the whole time....

...in swedish.

..Hell.

People taking advantage of glitches on Splinter Cell PT. People chucking up 30 3-pointers with [Peja, Steve Nash, Brent Barry, Mike Bibby, Tracy McGrady, INSERT NBA PLAYER HERE) and having them go in.
People using turbo buttons on certain games...

People(men and women, boys and girls) hitting on me online.

Generally people taking advantage of any bugs/glitches.
