Speaking as a current delivery driver, you're lucky that they even brought it back out to you.
It is my job to make sure that I can get in contact with the person in which I am delivering to..and it's your job to make sure that I can contact you. It's a safety issue and if that I had happened to me then you have a one shot deal, if I cant get in touch with you the first time then you either have to pick up the food from the store or you're sol.
However, since they did bring it back out to you and the price was wrong and with no fight then you're still sol since it's your word against there's..sorry.
