Seeing preview screens for the canceled by Capcom/now to be released by Spike (?) title "Shinjuku No Okami," the game visually looks terrible. It looks like a Saturn game. See for yourself:

Look at the character poly count, the backgrounds, the HUD, etc. fucking dismal, I say.

With that in mind, what are some other PS2 games that have embarrassingly bad graphics? I'm having a hard time recalling what some are.

Yakuza looks awful on my PS3, but that doesn't really count.

I don't think I own any PS2 games that look as bad as Shinjuku no Okami, thankfully. It's also making it hard for me to think of any that do since they've set the bar so low.

Beyond Good and Evil looked sort of like a PS1 game. The framerate didn't help, either. The tasteful art direction helped make up for it, at least.

spiderman 3 is a recent game I can think of. The grand theft auto stories games look like crap too (but they have an excuse since they're ports of psp games).

Yakuza did have some poor poly count for the characters. So did Prince of Persia.

On my PS3... ICO looks really, really bad. Love the game though. It looks great playing it on my SDTV from my PS2, so that's beside the point.

Worst game I've seen is Pimp My Ride... No, I don't own the game, my cousin owns it unfortunately. :/

City Crisis

Probably the worst game I can think of

And quite possibly that Ford Racing game called, oddly enough, Ford Racing2.

Then, of course, there's this game as well on some compilation disk:
