Would an ignorant man-child do daily searches for his name on Twitter, OTT?
Wait, so you got your mom to buy you a video game, then borrowed money from your grandmother to pay back your mom? Out of control.
You don't really think I'm serious, do you?

Yes, my mom picked up the game for me and refused to let me pay her back, but I do have my own money. You'd be surprised how much some guys will pay for kisses.

The Patriots are crushing the life out of the Titans right now.

Well, we didn't think you were serious when you said you got your mom to buy you Uncharted 2 either.

 @ how badly Activision is fucking over "PC gamers" with MW2.

Activision will get get theirs someday. I don't think Infinity Ward loves the way they're handling things and releasing 10 "Hero" games this year isn't going to help them in the long run.
Man, the Titans are just gettin' their shit pushed in.
 CBS just switched over to the BUF @ NYJ game. I don't think I've ever seen someone getting blown out so badly that they switched over just after half time.

Also, my apologies to TheRock for having Tom Brady on my fantasy team.

Is that really coming out this week or are my hopes gonna be crushed again?

Why, what are they doing?
The new Treehouse of Horror is on tonight? I can't remember when Fox hasn't aired it the week after Halloween.
I was amazed when I saw the commercial for it. I think every THoH has aired in November. (which has perplexed me greatly)
Why, what are they doing?
They jacked the price up from the standard PC MSRP of $50 to $60 for no reason and then they dropped dedicated servers in favor of matchmaking.

It may not seem like a big deal to those of us who like matchmaking on the console side, but that means that the community aspect is all screwed up, latency will now be an issue and I *think* it also means that they can't run custom user made maps anymore and they have to rely on DLC instead.

jimbo, I'd say play it. The story is neat, and the RTS gameplay is just mildly frustrating once you kind of get the hang of it. Still, like brak told me, it's a game that is good at a bunch of things but not great at any. The side missions are repetitive, but you don't have to do them. If you just did the story and worried on upgrading your car, I'd say you could beat the game in about 7 hours.

I'm disappointed now that I've reached the RTS. Hopefully I can finish it by this weekend, eBay it, and allow Borderlands to wipe it from my memory.

Not much chatter in the NFL pool because about ha;f the pool lost oput with Philly.

YEah, the way they screwed with MW2 for the PC is aweful. I bought it from Walmart for $50 with a $10 gift card. But now I don't see much reason why the pc version is better than the xbox except for the control scheme.

I laugh at Dice calling out Activision by having a press release stating that Bad Company 2 will still have server support.

Wuh oh. That won't end well.

I hope Infinity Ward laughs when MW2 shits all over Bad Company 2 with seven times the number of copies sold.

That surprised me too. For so long fox has been retarded and shown it after Halloween.
I laugh at Dice calling out Activision by having a press release stating that Bad Company 2 will still have server support.
That's odd. I thought "PC gamers" hated the last few Battlefields because they weren't Battlefield 3 and because they modified them to better appeal to the console crowd.
Upon figuring out what I was doing wrong in the stage battles, I like Brutal Legend again.
Yeah, that definitely helped me too. It kind of clicked, you know? This Ophelia battle is really frustrating, though. I can not take about these guys that throw up. Do you know how to do it?

Blame baseball...they have been airing that shit for the past few years, I'm surprised we're getting it early too.
This Ophelia battle is ridiculous.
Nah dude, that wasn't bad. But you might want to spoiler that.

Get a group of 1x headbanger, 1x razorgirl, 1x healer cycle. Take one of the blocked fan towers. Leave them there to fend it off. Meanwhile, build another such group and send it to the other tower.

Gradually build up the stage to get roadies. Meanwhile, fly back and forth between the 2 towers closest to her looking for enemies coming. Stop and help out whereever possible with battlecry, facemelter, and other riffs -- if you don't have the riffs, go find them all -- the anvil and the zeppelin ones are wicked useful.

Send the roadies to target her stage. Use double teams with the headbangers and razorchicks as necessary. When you think you're doing well, you can double team with the roadies to get to her stage -- if you keep funneling the roadies to the stage, they'll eventually take it down.

I haven't gotten that far.

I seriously spent two hours trying to beat the stage battle where you break down the gate on Friday night, and I beat it on my second try today. I just threw as many troops as possible at the gate, and didn't have any stay back and protect the stage or the geysers. Suddenly, "Brutal Victory."

I guess staying on the ground and fighting really matters.
 How much longer do I have once I get past this, frosty?
3 missions maybe -- 2 "stage battles". If you don't much care about spoilers, here's the details:

Escort tour bus to entrance to black tear sea. Fight Ophelia horde when you arrive, but you don't do stage/resources.

Then you take on Ophelia in her castle. Not really hard, as she stays on one side of a bridge and the game basically holds your hand (with minimal resistance) to allow you to get your stage to 4 and build up a rock crusher. Once you cross the bridge with it (bring a mass of troops with you), use it to blast her stage until it dies, then drop the led zeppelin riff and the hammer riff while your guys rush her stage. (If you take a bunch of headbangers/razorchicks/bassists, make sure you upgrade them.).

Then you take on one more stage battle, but it's not entirely hard... I got it on the second drive.
I can't believe NE beat Tennessee that bad. I've never seen a game like that.
I can't believe they've regressed this much.
I liked it when they showed the QB rating just before the half. Brady a perfect 158.3, Collins 0.
Wow, I didn't see that. I can't believe they let Collins play through the entire first half. I didn't see if they eventually took him out or not.

I looked up the box score on ESPN. Young eventually went in but was 0-2 with his first pass going to the other team.

It's hard to imagine what went wrong during the off-season to drag them down to a team with no wins this far into the season. I guess they should have seen some of this coming though when your QB is getting old and his backup is a dude who went nuts and was contemplating killing himself at the stadium (or whatever the situation was when he lost his starting job.)
