I know that I have to get a back of the battery case, and possibly a new screen, but would Gamestop accept this GBA?

And to let you know, those scratches are from a friend, he gave me this GBA.

I don't think so. I've heard that you have to have the bar code to trade it in.

Also, is the screen scratched or cracked?

the screen is scratched but i can buy another one offa nintendo.com if need be.

and if you're wondering how that happened, he left it on top of his mom's car, and forgot it was there, so it scratched pretty badly.
god that gba looks like crap
its not as bad as it was before, i took over an hour cleaning it today, and im gonna clean it even more tomorrow.

this may sound odd but would you consider selling the gba? i would really like some extras for four swords and as long as it works i really dont care about the physical appearance, if so PM me
GameStop does require that you have the barcode still on the GBA.
The only reason I thought that was because that was their policy with the GBC.
That is one of the worst looking things I have ever seen.
Its really not as bad in real life. The screen can be replaced, and the battery cover can too.

The scratches, well, theyre there forever, but if people dont really mind it, and just want an extra GBA for their friends to play FF:CC on it, or that fairy from Wind Waker, or Animal Crossing, or 4 Swords, then this is for you.

But the barcode is necessary. Personally, If I saw only half the barcode, I would assume that the thing was stolen and someone was trying to cover their ass. That's just me.

Nah. I dont steal stuff. Its just from one of my friends who wanted a few of my CD's (Sammy Hagar, Arena Rock, etc.) and my MP3 player (thats only worth $10) so he gave me that GBA, a Kirby GBA game, Game and Watch Gallery, Sims Bustin Out, a case, and a GBA link cable.
LOL Why would they take THAT?
I'm not selling it anymore or thinking of trading it. So uhm, dont bump this thread.
