Would you wear a pink shirt?

snotknocker

CAGiversary!
Can I burden you wth my peeve? I'll admit that I'm a little twisted and prone to having narrow minded opinions at times. But this is something I just do not understand. If anyone could shed some light on this I would appreciate it.

Lately I've been seeing a lot of guys wearing pink shirts. I would never wear a pink shirt. I do not think there is anything stylish about a pink shirt on a man. I do not think there is anything masculine about pink shirts on a man. In fact when I see a guy in a pink shirt the first thing I think is.... that guy is a homosexual or that guy has homosexual tendecies. Now do'nt get me wrong I have nothing against anybody's sexual preference. I've talked to a few of my guy friends and they all feel the same way I do. I've talked to a half a dozen female friends and their vote is split.... half agreed with me the other half did'nt seem to think that there was anything wrong with it. I'm cuirious what you guys think. Would you wear a pink shirt or not? If you would tell me why. If you would or do wear pink shirts does the thought of what people might think of you wearing a pink shirt even cross your mind? And for you female CAG's what do you think of guys who wear pink shirts?

im a male, obviously...and im very comfortable with my sexuality...that said, i do have a dislike for homos, but i dont say something every time that i see them, and i dont try to force my opinion onto others...hate me if you want, but oh well...and when i see guys wearing pink shirts, i usually think to myself, "what a queer"....but i can tell if hes really queer or not...while ive never wore a pink shirt before, i probably would if i liked the shirt enough...if people think im gay for that, then maybe they should take a peak in my bedroom window after hours and see who im bangin

I just hate the color pink. Even on a beautiful girl, I can't stand a vibrant tone of pink (pastels on such females do not bother me, though). It has nothing to do with having "homosexual" connotation, I just can't tolerate the color itself.

Ha lol so who u bangin?
I would never where a pink shirt. Def. gay

I owned a pink dress shirt with a pink tie. The lady that sold it to me was soooo hot, and she tied the tie on me and all. Oh man I wish she was a hooker. Anyway, that was a waste of $90.

I guess pink is the trendy color now; made popular by "metro-sexual" images, and even rappers (ie: Fat Joe and Cam'ron). I have couple of pink polos that I wear from time to time; it looks good on me. I couldn't care less what people think about me.

What did you do with your shirt and tie?

Hell yea! I wore a pink polo just last week! Pink is awesome, next time I wear it, I'll take a pic and post it just to prove how cool it really is.

its now a "fad" at my school for guys to wear pink shirts...meh...i dont feel like tryin to blend in...i'll just where normal clothes :)

Crockett and Tubbs say pink rules.

I wouldn't wear it personally, but I have no problems with someone else wearing it.

I was thinking about getting a pink sweater...just because I like the color pink...fine go ahead and call me a art fag but when you love art you love all colors...And I love pink so... :p

pink just isnt a big man color.
looks like your wearing a pink shirt in you avatar
it was drawn from a pic that I had on a red white striped checkered type shirt.
BN, i think zewone is calling you a queer.
oh. zewone has sex with sheep, I have proof.
but was it consensual?
We have to subpoena the text message logs to know for sure.

I have quite a few pink shirts. I even have pink underwear. I've always worn pink and never felt gay about it. I've even kissed a boy while wearing pink, and I still don't feel gay about it.

P.S. I'm female.

I nearly bought a purple polo when I got my pink one. I chose the pink over the purple though.

And onto the subject... I think a purple shirt would be worse than a pink shirt by far, agree?

i usually wear pants or shorts, a shirt, and boxers......i dont own a pink shirt but i just throw crap on in the morning anyways so it doesnt matter to me......i really dont like gay people all that much but im not gonna go laugh in their face about it......for all i care, gays can do whatever they want.....as long as i don have to be a part of it

depends....hot pink would be worse imo....as for purple....im from baltimore, so everyone wears purple (ravens)...'cept me

I'm as straight as an arrow but I think the pastel pink polos are tight.
Hot pink and purple t-shirts at places like Hollister, AE, & A&F are flaming though, I won't lie.
If you wear pink you gotta look classy in it, collared shirts can pass off almost anything.

I got a lime green Nautica shirt and thats as far as I go.

Basically I do not think Pink would suit me in a t-shirt(all I wear basically are Nautica T-shirts)

If i see a guy with a pink shirt i might laugh a little, though on the other hand its good because they're... exploring...their sexuality? Or maybe they just like pink. But i just can't help but laugh a little because it's not a common sight. A lot of guys won't wear pink shirts, so it's kind of funny to see a guy wearing one. Heh.

I always found pink shirts questionable, until my best friend wore one to his college grad party. Now I just know it takes a secure man to wear a pink shirt.

I hate to state the obvious, but what color shirt someone wears means absolutely nothing. And if you have a problem with it, it says something about you.

And who gives a flying shaq-fu if they are gay or not anyway? I had really hoped we were growing up a little bit on this topic.

Now leather, ass-less chaps? That's a gay man. And there's nothing wrong with that.

whoa! before that P.S. I was getting pretty uncomfortable in this thread
same thing that i was thinking...good thing the p.s. was there, lol

I like it. Then again, I'm gay. But I want to put it in my perspective.
Style/Color of shirt.. or anything of an outfit doesnt determine a person's sexuality..it's just a stereotyopical thing, that people just seem to follow.

Pink polos and button down shirts are pretty straight. It's the tight pink tshirts that lean more towards the gays.
But clothes are clothes.

A well clean cut guy with a pink button down shirt is very classy and really attractive.

See, I personally do not like pink, but if you're going to wear a pink shirt as a guy, wear a goddamned REAL pink shirt. I'm sick of seeing these copycat idiots walking around in those "Fly Hip Hop Culture" Off-Pink shirts. It looks like they're wearing what once was a white T-shirt that had been thrown in the washing machine with the red clothes. It looks fucking idiotic.
pink just isnt a big man color.
On the contary, it IS a big man's color. In a sense.

Now if the question pertains to t-shirts, then no I wouldn't wear a pink shirt.

If you're talking about dress shirts, that's a different story. I've read in a GQ Q&A a while back that men with strong, muscular builds can get away with wearing a pink dress shirt.

Look around a business sector in your city or what have you, and look to see who's wearing pink dress shirts under their suit coats. From what I've seen, the above statement holds true. I have seen some thinner gentlemen wear pink dress shirts, and if I could I would certainly advise them to stick with a light blue or white shirt.

Skinny cats, no. Athletic, fit cats, yes.

I can't wear a pink dress shirt. But I'm working on it.

Um...My dad wears pink shirts all of the time. And I'm pretty sure that he fucks the shit out of my mom, so I don't think its gay. However, the rampant middle-school mentality of gay people being in some way evil or wrong sickens me.
Oh, and it depends on the shirt, just as with all colors. But, yeah, I've worn pink shirts before and will continue to.

Hey, the Coz wore pink a few times, and he's the man!

pink = gay

why any guy would wactually want to wear a pink shirt is beyond me...it's not cool, it doesnt look good, it's just plain GAY.

Sorry for the double post, but I just read the ones following page 1. I agree with the following:
I hate to state the obvious, but what color shirt someone wears means absolutely nothing. And if you have a problem with it, it says something about you.

Originally, the purpose of this thread was to find out what you all thought of men who wear pink shirts. Next thing you know this thread is innundated with homophobic inferences.

There is no correllation between pink shirts and men who prefer to be with men.

I think it DOES say something about the person who makes a blanket statement that associates wearing a pink shirt with being a homosexual man. Some of you cats have issues with your open-mindedness. Don't come to California, and especially don't ever come to San Francisco - you wouldn't be able to handle it (not even you overtly-masculine types). Some of these gay guys in the city are bigger than most of trucks y'all homophobes go off-roadin' in, and if you try to pick a fight wih one of them (especially the ones wearing pink shirts), they will bury you in the concrete. But if you don't believe me, then take a field trip. It'd make a great news story, and I need a reason to start watching more local news.

"Gang of gaming bargain hunters antagonize gay bar patrons, promptly pummeled by pink-shirted drag queens. Complete story at eleven."
