Would you wear a pink shirt?

I would its not that big of a thing to me, no I dont own a pink shirt but I dont see anything wrong with wearing that color, it wont make me any less of a man.
 
I'm not big on pink, but I wear purple shirts all of the time. Sometimes they can be a bit vibrant. I'm all for it.

I have a light pink polo shirt and a flourescent pink shirt from Hot Topic that says "Tough Guys Wear Pink". My friends often give me shit about my colorful wardrobe, but I like having a variety of clothing.

Sorry, but pink is just one color not right for a man. I don't care if he's straight or gay, it's just not right.

Example: I was in a Best buy last week and saw this black dude wearin a pink doo rag, pink sweater, blue jeans and pink timberlands.

It was just wrong to see this color on a dude pushin six feet plus and about 350 lbs.

Pink is just one of those colors a man should stay away from.

Don't flame me for this it's just my two cents on the topic.

pink is a color, and if you dont like the color, thats fine, but i dont see how wearing a color determines your sexuality.

i would wear a pink shirt for the same reason i would wear a blue shirt or a black shirt!! if it looks good, i mean god damn i wear old men golf caps, and a pirate hat, yet ive never been on a large ship, nor have i ever gone golfing!
 
I've worn something close to a pink shirt. It was a red P.E. that I used back in high school. By the last semester it was so faded it looked pink. Didn't really bother since it was only P.E. Other than that I wouldn't wear pink.
 
Back in the 80s, lots of guys wore pink shirts and nobody cared. First it was the preppy style - pink shorts, green pants, etc. Then it was the Miami Vice era and pastels like pink and turquoise were cool. Personally, I don't care what color your shirt is. However, I think you are an idiot if you have those super baggy pants.

Wearing pink is great. My favorite shirt is a Pink Polo shirt. Althought I have gotten some snide comments, most people seem to like it (I Love It). The reason a male should wear/gets away with wearing a pink shirt? WOMEN EAT IT UP. IT EXUBERATES CONFIDENCE. Confidence is all you need as a man...it could get a guy like me a super-model type g/f...
 
I would wear a shirt with pink in it, but not an exclusively pink shirt. In fact, I used to have a black Pansy Division T-shirt with the famously homosexual pink triangle.

BTW...I am very much a straight man with a wife and a bun in the oven, but those guys put on a great show!!

Do you have a pink shirt? When you put it on does it bother you that people might think you're gay for wearing it? For me, thats the main reason I won't wear a pink shirt. For whatever reason I think the majority of people associate pink shirts on a man with homosexuality. Can you honestly say that you have never made that association before reading posts in this thread? I don't think so.

I don't think I'm close minded. Narrow minded definately but not close minded. I am without a doubt judgemental. I all to often prematurely jump to conclusions. I realize I am very opinionated and do not deal well with conformity or with most other people.

Maybe it's a geographical thing with pink shirts .... I don't really know. but in my neck of the woods (NYC) I believe most people associate pink shirts on men with homosexuality. And if someone I knew told me they did'nt I would impulsively not beleive them. I'm not saying that's right. I'm just saying that's me. That's how I think, that's how I feel, that's how I am. Even if it is wrong. Sometimes I need to get feedback from other people to justify or discredit my twisted little views on things..... thus this thread

I really just started this thread to get opinions. Not to bash gays. Not to start a flame war, and most of all not to piss anyone off.

it really depends on what shade of pink... hot pink will never look good on a male. i own a banana republic pink dress shirt, and its hella pimp.

if you think if you wear pink, you are/look gay. you might have some homophobia my friend. colors do not define sexual preferences.

yea, i've also seen that theory on discovery, its not the first sign of homosexuality but rather intriged of the idea... more of a bi-courious personality. but since most ppl rather act macho than wear a pink shirt, thus the comments like "pink=gay! have fun with your pink shirt collection and im so mature" ...

actions like those just point out your insecurities, hell i'd wear a freaken rainbow if it looked good on me. the hell with what others think. i have my face pierced, hair spiked, pink shirted. ill see you all during bootcamp

Let's clear a few things up.
I don't think I ever said if you wear a pink shirt that means you're gay, and I am not afraid of men that wear pink shirts. I know that there are straight men that wear pink shirts. The real opinion I was driving to get feedback on is

If you wear a pink shirt do you consider the thought that people might associate your shirt with homosexuality. This is as simplistic as I can phrase it .

Just to defend myself against your accusations (If that's what you were doing) that I have homosexual or bisexual tendencies.

I have three teenage daughters. I was divorced and am now remarried.
I have been intimate with many women. I never had or even cotemplated sex with a man or wacked off to pictures of men. I do not judge people for their sexual preference.

I think some posters took my initial post out of context to conclude that I was saying if you wear a pink shirt you ARE gay.

I easily overlook the comments by the feeble minded, my shit don't stink posters.
 
My wife kept asking me to get a pink shirt a while back...was the "in" color for guys they say. I said no way. Not that i think it makes you look gay....its just not my thing.
 
There wearing becuase a rapper named cam'ron started it and it just kinda got popular and i am to big to wear pink it would not be right
