WoW Battle Chest

Hey Guys,

Okay, so I really blew it on black Friday. I had just given in to peer pressure and downloaded the 10-day trial of World of Warcraft. I was only a couple of hours into the game when I decided to check out Amazon.com to see how much it would cost if I were to decide to actually buy the game. It showed up as $19.99 for the complete WoW battlechst.

I thought that was a good price, and decided to finish my trial before making my purchase. Little did I know, this was a limited black friday deal and would be gone by the time I came back to buy it! So now I've got 3 days left on the trial and I want to buy the battle chest reasonably soon, but I don't want to spend $39.99 on the game plus $29.99 for a 60 day card if I don't have to. It would be awesome to find a deal like what was on Amazon.com that day.

Does anyone know of any good deals on the WoW Battle Chest? :D

Thanks!

Wow that was very fast! And exactly what I was looking for! :applause:

I ordered it right there on the spot. :D

Does anyone know of any way to get cheaper pre-pay cards than $29 for 60 days? I know its only about $2 a day, but still... this is cheap ass gamer, after all! haha.

Thanks!

Google's shopping search is your friend. :p

As for time cards, a lot of members here trade/sell them, and then there's ones on eBay, but that's a gamble because most of them will try to get you to pay, and then email you an invalid code (to which Paypal and eBay will have a hearty I told you so for not following their terms). Those are the only two ways I can think of.

I'm also looking to get some cheap WoW time, I don't feel like paying .50 cents a day. It IS 50 cents a day, not 2$ that would be WAAAY too much :p

Oops! I did my math backwards. haha. :whistle2:# Thanks! 50 cents isn't bad, but if we can get cheaper, why not, right?!

But yeah, where's the cheap WoW time at? Anyone? ...Bueler?

Yeah, google shopping search IS my friend! Unfortunately even if the sites offer the card for cheaper (i.e. $25) then they'll charge tax and shipping, so it ends up being more than Amazon's $29 with no tax and free shipping.

I checked out ebay and the cag forums, but nothing seems that great to warrant the risk of possibly getting screwed. I guess it is what it is. At this point its probably just worth it to pay the $29 instead of wasting any more time trying to save $5 or 10. haha.

If anyone finds any great deals on this let me know though, because after that initial 60 days is up you know I'm gonna be looking for another one. :D

Thanks!

I got my battlechest from Circuit City on T-day for $18.36.

Now Im also looking for a time card.

Some of those websites where you can buy WoW Gold have Timecards and they just email you the code.

Some charge retail and others a little less $26+.

Im trying to find one for about $24, that would be less than the 6 month 12.99 a month subscription option.
