WoW Burning Crusade Collector's Edition Post Now or Later

Alright, calling anyone who got a WoW: Burning Crusade CE and is selling it. What do you think. Post em now on fleebay or wait? Waiting IMO is the way to go, because you have tons up there right now flooding it up, and take a look at how much the original WoW CE sells for on ebay now. I'd say wait. Any thoughts?
 
Wait because people are still looking for this in stores.

Tonight, when people realize all stores are sold out, prices will start getting very high because people will become desperate to have this and they know for sure there is no other alternative.
 
Yeah I mean it's not like the PS3 re-selling when there were gonna be more shipments. There are no more shipments of this.....this is it....hence COLLECTOR's EDITION :)
 
i preordered one from blizzard, got confirmed, got billed, never saw a cancellation so i am hoping to find it when i get home today. i canceled my WoW account like 2 weeks ago after only playing it once in the past 4-5 months. so i am undecided if i will keep it or sell it. currently leaning towards selling since i was only a level 22 druid. ill see how high the prices get first though.
 
Why did you stop at level 22?

The game only really opens up at higher levels... I really enjoyed high level Battleground stuff.

I don't think Burning Crusade would convince someone who is level 22 to keep playing though, since most of the new stuff is tailored for 60 +. You'd reactivate your account just to keep doing the same stuff as before.
 
I find it odd that these are selling so high. I figured those who are willing to pay $600 for the original (the hardcore fans) would have pre-ordered this just to avoid what happened with the original, hence more supply than demand. On a weird (and positive) note, I went to Best Buy a few minutes ago to pick up DQ: Rocket Slime for $20 and casually asked the CSR if they had any more of the CE. He handed me one so now I have one too lol.

I think something like 8 million people play World of Warcraft... Blizzard didn't 8 million CE's ;) And EB / GS cut off preorders for the CE a long time ago, I think.

Demand way exceeds supply in this case.

Exactly my thoughts, i can always grab the expansion pack later on, but I didn't want to cancel, i enjoyed the game just couldn't find time to continue playing, especially for what i was paying to not play. Once i moved and had an office upstairs on the opposite end of my house i find myself not at my computer as often. i would love a laptop to play on while watching TV. Plus in the middle of the season i work a lot of overtime which limits my gaming time even more. But Blizzard keeps all my characters so when i sign back up they will still be there. so when i buy a laptop that can play some games i might pick it back up.
 
I was lucky and was able to pick one up and I didn't have to pre-order or wait in line at midnight. But I don't know whether to keep it or to sell it.
 
The funny thing is that I went to cc and Target today, and I saw more PS3's than the WOW Collectors Edition. Target by the way didn't get thiers today. The guy in the PC section said try tomorrow. In other words, they took the first batch for themselves.

I'm OK though, I pre-ordered from Blizzards Website so I got one. Hopefully its waiting for me at home. And my character is Lvl 43, so I won't play the expansion until I get to 60...And by that time I'll just pick up the regular edition and keep the CE for prosperity.

Target didn't get CE's at all... no Target did.

And I don't think there will be a second batch, this is pretty much it.

Really!?? Wow, that's awful. I did see the place holder on the shelf for it, so I grabbed it and scaned it to see if any were in the backroom. Sadly it said no. It's in their computers so something had to happen for them not to get it.

Huh... your Target had a placeholder? Mine didn't even have that, they had the entire display set up but no placeholder at all for the CE. Someone on a different thread in Cali also said their Target had no CE whatsoever.

I wonder if it's some kind of distrubtion problem and these are going to show up tomorrow sometime?

Same experience here - I picked up WOW BC CE today at Target, and there were lots more PS3s than WOW BC CEs.
