I THINK the point is that when an attack like this happens, 99% of the focus seems to be on whether or not an American was hurt/killed. 56 people killed in a bombing? Eh, whatever... Wait, one of them is an American, you say? Shit, this is BIG NEWS! Rather like how Missing Drunk White Girl can get 6 months of non-stop coverage on Fox News - if she wasn't an American, it wouldn't get coverage, even if it was 200 missing girls instead of just 1.

At least, that's what I'm guessing he means. From that picture, I'm guessing that he needs to lay off the booze...
 
This happens in every country. It happens in canada and, from looking at news from the u.k., australia, sweden etc. it happens there as well. It happens maybe a little more here (at least when compared to canada), but it still happens elsewhere.
 
Yeah I hate it when they just focus on the Americans. I mean why is 1 American more important than 50 Iraqis? I mean I understand the fact that the news is for Americans and they want to hear about thier comrades but when you say something like "OMG 1 AMERICAN DIED!!" then basically ignore the rest, it makes you seem full of yourself.

...as for his claim that we "belittle anyone and anything that is not American," ....errr....well, that is a pretty long article and he should have pulled out the exact text he was referring to. 3rd key, be more specific and cite the exact text you were referring to, ya weenie!
