Odd request, I'm sure. I ordered some PS1 games and each case arrived damaged. That's a problem when you're anal about that kind of thing.

I'd like to buy, or trade (see my TL), for 1 each of 1,2,4 disc cases. Obviously I need them to be in great shape. No cracks or messed up disc holders, etc. Can anyone help me out?

me too, i hate it when that happens but free bump...
well I have a jewel case that can hold 6 discs... it's from UT2004 CD version.
Thanks for the offer but I'm looking for identical replacements.

I have had some luck finding good cases at gamestops. There stickers come off easily most of the time.. There are some really cheap games that have multi disc holders, like ridge racer type 4 cost me 2.99, but had a mint case I needed.

what works for me when removing stickers from cd casses or my address from the aol dvd casses is rubbing alcohol. get two cotton balls put alcohol and rub the case, the alcohol helps to remove the glue/sticker residue.

If you have a Game Crazy in your area, try to get a few cheapie multi-disc games. Their stickers are a piece of cake to remove (I know this because I got a mint Asteroids (PSX) for my grandmother and I didn't want her knowing how much I spent :p ).

Last night when I was looking through all of my junk in my closet I found a box with over 100 cd cases in mint condition..

To get a like new case you can take the CD cases apart and use them for your games.

The front and back of the multidisc cases for PS games are both the exact same part as the back of a regular CD case (the part that holds the disc tray)

The only difference between CD cases and PS game cases is that most CD's come with black disc trays, but I am assuming all you need to replace is the scuffed outside of some PS games...

If this is confusing I could post some pics of what I am talking about, or if you don't have any CD cases I could send you some, I have a ton of extras. I can post pics of before/after transplants that I just did so you can see they are the exact same if you would like.

Pics would help. :D

I think I get what you're saying though. How would that work for the 2 and 4-disc cases?

I will do my best to post some pics tommorow afternoon, I need to get my Dig. camera back right after work, but I have a ton of stuff going on in the evening. I will do my best to get pics asap.

As far as the multi disc cases go, if you need the large black tray in the middle (the part where the manual is normally just sitting loose in multi disc games), then you pretty much need to find another ps game to do a transplant.. If you just need the front and back of the case replaced then you can get those from CD's...

The back part of a regular CD case (the part the disc holder/tray snaps into) is the exact same as the front and back of a multi-disc PS case. It will all make sense when I post pics...
