It is out of stock EVERY fucking WHERE! EB and GS are out of stock, as is every other retailer (even Sam Goody!) My sister is getting a GC for Xmas and I was going to get her this game because she mentioned it specifically.

WTH? Does every Christmas have to suck at finding stuff? This game is over two years old! I know the DS version recently came out, but that shouldn't make that much of a difference.

Well, it recently dropped to $29.99 everywhere so maybe all the people that had been waiting two years for a drop picked up the game?
 
I think Mario Kart DS really sparked interest in this franchise again. I almost got the GC version waiting for the DS, but it was still $50 at the time.
 
It's a hot seller year after year. I remember back in 2003 when it came out (and when I had a job!), I would open the box and people would literally grab it right out of my hands. We would sell out in under 5 seconds. I didn't even get to price them.
 
I have one for sale. Used maybe once. Should be mint as new with shiny as new box (never moved or touched except to open).

STFU. TRU used to spank the hell out of stores like EB and Gamestop.

However, I find that in recent years they can't keep up with the aggressive pricedrops that most games experience nowadays.
 
I had a hell of a time finding MK:DD when I wanted it about a year after it came out. I think I picked mine up at CC. I would just call around. I usually see it at EBgames, but then again I haven't been there since it came out for DS, and it's Christmas time..

If you do not think she would mind it used, check out my sig for info about ordering from cdtradepost online, the emporia, ks store has one for $31.99. Just make sure you offer to pay more money for 1st class shipping (probably a dollar more) otherwise they may use media mail (depends on the store since each cdtradepost is independently owned) if you want to get it before christmas. Call your area pawnshops, they just might have one.
 
I just thought of something, gamefly has it instock for the keep it price of $29.99, so that's something to think about if you are desperate and you do not think she would mind it used. Been awhile since I bought a game from gamefly, I forget how fast their shipping is?

What? I got it asmy first GC game on Black Friday 2003. I own every other game in the series except Advance, and up until MKDS came out, Double Dash!! was clearly the best in my opionion.
 
Checked BB, CC, GS (2x), EB, TRU, FYE and nothing. I may be able to get it when I hit Atlanta, but GS and EB didn't even have it used.

While its different. It was the best multiplayer MK game. Me and some friends played it for about 4 hours straight. No other game has come close. cept maybe warioware onm GCN.
 
My fa-in-law got a used one from GS for me right before I found the new copy. If it's a good complete copy, I'll just keep it. Been waiting for it to drop myself for awhile, and didn't even think about it again until I got the sis-is-getting-a-GC news.
 
I got my copy bundled with my cube. I'm amazed it's held it's value so well. Usually pack in games drop in price like a rock.
