Wtf? People actually like Butterfingers?

You guys are forgetting (or are too young?) to remember the mid-80s, when either cocoa butter or chocolate became expensive, and candy bars started using cheap fillers, including wax, in the chocolate. Baby Ruth was a big offender. Disgusting, and an affront to chocolate.

Nothing recently has been as bad as that.

Butterfingers are okay, but are best when they're warm. That makes them hard to eat, but the filling actually has taste and isn't so gummy. Apart from that, Halloween size Butterfingers are perfect crumbled over ice cream.

My current favorite would probably be Coffee Crisp.

Once you taste real swiss chocolate, its hard to go back.

My dad went to Switzerland once and brought like a suitcase full of chocolate (all kinds). That was amazingly good.
 
Butterfingers are okay. I think those NEON candy and Tootsie Rolls are worse. I like Butterfinger ice cream though.. kinda like how I hate Oreo cookies, but like the Oreo ice cream.
 
I don't like them. Its my least favorite candy bar.

The last time i saw somebody eat one, their head fell off. They were kind of old.

i dont remember that and i was around then so thats news to me. back then though i was more into fruity candys than chocolate so that would explain why i dont remember. things like candy thumbs, slime slurps, big league chew, bubble tape, tidal wave gum, hubba bubba, now laters ,lick a mix ect. candy bars were cool but too expensive and you could get more fruity candy than chocolate.


screw all that stuff though gimme a moon pie and some milk and im a happy camper especially if its one of those double decker mother fuckers. :bouncy:. microwave that sumbitch and life is prettty much sweet. i like to microwave chips ahoy cookies too then its like a fresh baked cookie.

try the cookies and cream ice cream at baskin robbins that may change your mind.
 
While I don't eat candy as much as when I was a kid, Butterfingers are up there as one of my favorites. And I think I'm also the only one who actually liked having the candy get stuck in my teeth so I could slow poke it out w/ a toothpick. Very satisfying feeling.
